  1. Just read they're bringing back the marching band. Very happy to hear that however, this must mean some bad news is about to drop...
  2. Shoot I almost forgot about him lol
  3. I used to work as a lifeguard in high school and listened to sports radio all the time. Back then, Jim Rome was on way more than I would have liked. I wish Overcast would have existed back then. That guy could really milk a moment of silence.
  4. Andrew Voorhees is a monster, but not as much as his brother, Jason.
  5. No kidding. I just don't understand how he walked away from that lol

  7. Whenever I think of Bijan, I think of this play...
  8. Ahhh OK. I missed that. Thanks! I was wondering if he was going to try to get the #5 from TW. But I like the #1.
  9. While Newsome is no longer the GM, he's actually still very involved in the draft process and present in their war room. EDC has loads of experience, but his first year as the lead guy was 2019. His QB was MVP and they made the playoffs. Hollywood was a good pickup, but no other real hits that year. 2020 was a much more successful draft. The only problem they had was a league-leading number of guys hitting the IR including their entire RB room, where they absolutely have talent in Gus and JK. Lol I hope you're joking by comparing the Ravens front office to Washington's. It's not even close. I'll bet you could ask a million people familiar with the NFL and a large majority would include Baltimore amongst the best run franchises.
  10. Did anyone see anywhere why he might have switched from #5 to #1?
  11. Thanks for posting that yt link! Dude looks like he's really putting in the work. I laugh at all these fools already calling him a bust. I think he'll wind up a solid piece of offense now that we've got some arm strength at qb.
  12. What's happening in this photo (burgundy jersey)?? It looks like he's really gotta pee lol
  13. Give me Michael Mayer from ND or one of the top corners.
  14. Pretty sure we'll see a good bit of Mathis. I could even see Butler get a shot at FS early on. Hopefully the team doesn't try to run Gibson into the ground and uses BRob on the short yardage and early downs. Longer season, gotta keep everyone fresh for the paloffs.
  15. Davis? Edit: nvm I'm a little behind in this thread lol
  16. Yeah, we could have easily taken Dotson's teammate, Brisker, and grabbed a DL in the third. Hopefully, Mathis is worth it. At least they were able to find a true FS in Butler, something this team was missing. I vaguely recall a time when this board was arguing about which QB we should take in the first and how many spots we needed to move up to get him.
  17. Well, according to the media mocks and big boards, it wasn't really that great of a draft. But those aren't always reliable in the end. All I can say is that throughout the ES Mock Draft, I learned about a ton of players and pretty much decided if I wanted them on the team or not. Washington drafted two I liked in Dotson and Mathis. Regardless of whether or not they were taken too high, I'm pretty confident they'll be quality players. Howell being available was a major surprise. I came into the draft not wanting any quarterbacks, but I don't hate that pick in the 5th. It certainly gives us another intriguing option if the The Carson Wentz Experience poops the bed. I can see him coming in with a chip on his shoulder and wanting to really prove himself. As for the rest of the guys, I haven't a single clue. I'll see what happens with the rest of free agency to determine whether or not I'll place a $10,000 bet on them to win it all next year.
  18. Agreed. I wish him the best, but too risky
  19. He's apparently extremely skilled at getting lots of hang time and getting it it out of bounds just shy of the goal line. Sam Koch hasn't been as good as years past. Stout wasn't going to be available in 6 or 7. And they already drafted 4 guys who could've all been 1sts. Can't knock the pick.
