Are televised games no longer broken up by FOX=NFC and CBS=AFC. We’re on CBS again and it’s two NFC East teams pinned against each other
-
Why do people get so butt hurt when folks criticize Sam Howell for holding onto the ball too damn long. He DOES hold onto the ball too long, and the LINE does suck. Guess what, both can be true but you don’t hear people crying when the line is criticized. He’s young, he should hopefully improve, but god forbid he is criticized.

Great play by Davis

Like the Broncos game again.
-
Chase - kinda need to make a play. You know, like an elite talent would.

Is the 16 points because it’s against Atlanta or because Forbes got benched?

Atrocious play calling.

I hate running on 2nd and long in general. But especially since we're more effective throwing the ball.
Yea that should have been a pass probably

Will be nice if the day ever comes where we can actually make it easy on ourselves and put the other team away.

Everyone admits it. First sack was on him. Second sack wasn’t. Third down should have taken a sack. I’d actually argue taking sacks on that entire drive was a better idea than throwing it away and stopping the clock.
I can understand that line of thinking but you take the sack and you risk injury, you risk a fumble and worse of all you give the opposing team and sense of momentum. Just has to be careful, this is way to many hits.

Howell had no awareness on that first sack, just needs to throw it the **** away.
People don’t want to admit it, but rather blame the line. A lot of this is on Howell too. He’s got to get better.

At least we broke the Ravens preseason winning streak.

Every time I watch TJ Watt play I think to myself this is what it should be like watching Chase Young. But it’s not.
Edit* I want you to know I posted that before he sacked Lamar to end the game.
Exactly, I think of our entire unit. We don’t play fast or aggressive and we are not disruptive enough.

It's pretty normal for this team. As a fan, you have some excitement during those first couple of games because you believe this year will be different and anything can happen. Then reality sets in pretty quick and you believe your gut again, that's been screaming at you 'HEY, SOMETHING AIN'T RIGHT". Then by the end of the year, they win a few games and you think we're so close.

LOL at the phone case. I mean we might as well go mental and just be hated like an evil antirhero.

We are definitely a slow team. I don’t care what the 40 times say. Gibson is not football fast, none of the WRs blow the top off anyone. Our ends aren’t twitchy. Davis is suppose to be a physical freak and he never flashes. I forget he is there. You never hear his name. But first thing that needs to happen is a new coaching staff. Players can be after that.

Yeah I don't get the complaints about lack of runs either. We were down double digits most of the game. The Bears secondary is full of backups and jags. Everytime we ran the ball we did them a favor.
The rest of the season should just be all about letting Howell sling it 50+ times a game. Best case scenario he develops and we have a legit passing attack, which we'll need since apparently the defense is gonna be giving up 30 points a game now. Worst case he gets crushed in which case we just tank and end up in the Caleb Williams/Drake May sweepstakes anyway.
Part of the issue is we struggle sucking that bad to get the #1 pick.

people will be amazed how much more fun it will be to root for a young, scrappy rebuild that is coached well and built by a competent GM. We won’t even miss all of this veteran “talent” that’s been disappointing us for years, if they do a fire sale.Exactly, it should not take so long to rebuild. If your team sucks 4 years into it, that staff and players aren’t it.

More making a tough catch and Terry tripping up. Smh this team

It all needs to be torn apart and rebuilt from scratch.
If I'm Harris I let it be known that everyone on the roster is on the trade block(except for guys whom we can't trade because it would accelerate their cap hits).
Not one single coach, scout, trainer, FO person etc should keep their job.
It’s difficult and I know people have grown to like our homegrown talent but you have get draft capital by trading these guys. By the time we are good, if that ever happens, Terry will be 30, the defensive line will be 8+ years into their career etc.
We need to get you younger, faster and better.

So who's gonna cry in the locker room this time?
The people who always say “but it’s only preseason, but it’s only the first quarter, but it’s only the first game”.

What a bad mix of front office, coaching and players. It’s just a bad mix. That’s all that can be said.
