Everyone admits it. First sack was on him. Second sack wasn’t. Third down should have taken a sack. I’d actually argue taking sacks on that entire drive was a better idea than throwing it away and stopping the clock.

I can understand that line of thinking but you take the sack and you risk injury, you risk a fumble and worse of all you give the opposing team and sense of momentum. Just has to be careful, this is way to many hits.

Every time I watch TJ Watt play I think to myself this is what it should be like watching Chase Young. But it’s not.

Edit* I want you to know I posted that before he sacked Lamar to end the game.

Exactly, I think of our entire unit. We don’t play fast or aggressive and we are not disruptive enough.

  3. It's pretty normal for this team. As a fan, you have some excitement during those first couple of games because you believe this year will be different and anything can happen. Then reality sets in pretty quick and you believe your gut again, that's been screaming at you 'HEY, SOMETHING AIN'T RIGHT". Then by the end of the year, they win a few games and you think we're so close.

  4. We are definitely a slow team. I don’t care what the 40 times say. Gibson is not football fast, none of the WRs blow the top off anyone. Our ends aren’t twitchy. Davis is suppose to be a physical freak and he never flashes. I forget he is there. You never hear his name. But first thing that needs to happen is a new coaching staff. Players can be after that.

Yeah I don't get the complaints about lack of runs either. We were down double digits most of the game. The Bears secondary is full of backups and jags. Everytime we ran the ball we did them a favor.

The rest of the season should just be all about letting Howell sling it 50+ times a game. Best case scenario he develops and we have a legit passing attack, which we'll need since apparently the defense is gonna be giving up 30 points a game now. Worst case he gets crushed in which case we just tank and end up in the Caleb Williams/Drake May sweepstakes anyway.

Part of the issue is we struggle sucking that bad to get the #1 pick.

people will be amazed how much more fun it will be to root for a young, scrappy rebuild that is coached well and built by a competent GM. We won’t even miss all of this veteran “talent” that’s been disappointing us for years, if they do a fire sale.

Exactly, it should not take so long to rebuild. If your team sucks 4 years into it, that staff and players aren’t it.

It all needs to be torn apart and rebuilt from scratch.

If I'm Harris I let it be known that everyone on the roster is on the trade block(except for guys whom we can't trade because it would accelerate their cap hits).

Not one single coach, scout, trainer, FO person etc should keep their job.

It’s difficult and I know people have grown to like our homegrown talent but you have get draft capital by trading these guys. By the time we are good, if that ever happens, Terry will be 30, the defensive line will be 8+ years into their career etc.

We need to get you younger, faster and better.
