Don’t even joke about keeping the GMs around. We need a new GM running the draft.

From the QBs and their highlight videos, my eyes keep telling me Caleb is the one that looks most natural. Has an ability to stay calm, only run when needing to and can make multiple angle throws. Hopeful he can be Mahomes or even Dak.
Maye is bigger, doesn’t excite me whatsoever but maybe that’s a good thing and is a safe play. Hopefully can be Justin Hebert or Daniel Jones.
Daniels in theory is exciting but purely running QB almost never work out. Hope can be Lamar but he could be RG3 too in terms of not protecting himself.
Or all three could bust.

Did the generational talent do anything today?

I really didn't think anyone could be worse than Snyder and here comes Tepper saying hold my beer
Imagine the fans who stopped being a fan of this team, ended up picking a new team and that new team happened to be the Panthers.
Also, I only got your joke just now. Tepper literally said hold my beer.

Why do people think Pats are going to fire their coach.

Maye all day. Also I would pick him over Williams. I don't trust the character that Williams is for longevity.
I’m not saying you’re off on your assessment but people had character issues about Micah Parsons also.

Well... Sweat, anyway. Young shows up on the stat sheets about as often as he did here, if not less. Sweat was the one no one wanted to lose, but the deal was too good to pass.
I will add that while Sweat was good here (not great) and is doing really well with Chicago, Preston Smith also had a quick spike in GreenBay before reverting back to his averages but also, we needed to get younger and got a good offer for him.

I hate all these pathetic teams who can’t win games, effin screwing up our chances to move up.

Man if you win a couple games this close to the draft, it would be awful.

I am glad that it seems Harris will let Ron finish the year. It’s better for the long term health of this franchise if viable GMs and coaches see this place as a stable institution rather than what Tepper is creating with the Panthers (and obviously what we’ve had under Snyder).

Last year I think it could have worked since the Bears were taking a wait and see approach with Fields but this year, I feel like they will move on from him and draft a QB so they won’t even be a trade partner for that top spot.

Swinging and missing is fine as long as the swing isn’t debilitating and the miss doesn’t make you gun shy.
The 49ers had Garrappolo, then traded a bunch for Lance and quickly pivoted to Purdy.
The Eagles had, Bradford, then Foles, then Wentz and then Hurts. They just kept trying.
The issue IMO isn’t “making the mistake”, it’s not quickly moving on from it.

I repeat, if the Raiders don't lock down Antonio Pierce we need to interview him....his guys play for him and he just beat Mahomes, in KC, with a rookie QB. Congrats to him and team.
He was an intelligent LB that we let get away.

Not much of a college guy but Caleb looks fine in his YouTube highlights for what it’s worth and so does Daniel’s. Not like it matters since many guys look good in YouTube clips.
We probably don’t have a shot at Williams. If Daniels can be good, he’s the type of guy who can reignite this homebase due to his playmaking ability.
I hear Maye is the potential best. He looks boring on tape but maybe that’s what is needed. Not sure.

That’s what happens when you hired Panthers and Lions retreads.

Pats fans must be pissed, hoping for the loss.

Why would you put Jacoby in this late in the season. If you were going to make the move, he should have made it earlier in the year when it was obvious that Sam was not the guy. At least then you had a chance for the playoffs. Now it’s just fruitless.

Not only does winning hurt our chance at a top level talent but it also hurts our chance to trade down for a slew of picks. This is just awful by many counts.

Winning would be so damn tragic.

2024 NFL Draft Position/Tracker - Final Pick #2

Being in the NFC East is so annoying. Eagles are a well run organization. Dallas for the most part is pretty stable. Then you have the Giants who for whatever reason want to draft a QB the same years we want to draft a QB. Just stick to your damn Daniel Jones and go draft a damn lineman.
