I guess I might be wrong. But I’ve always felt Ioannidis was our best interior lineman, followed by Payne, and then Allen last. I just feel like Matt Ioannidis and Payne flash a lot more than Allen. Allen is the best locker room guy of the three, but I feel like we have enough good character, and locker room payers now. That’s just me though.

I had the same nightmare. Nah, if it’s the Cowboys I definitely won’t watch. I haven’t watched a full season of Hard Knocks in years anyway.

I just caught some of Chase Young’s first press conference. He said he’s been doing a lot of work on his feet this past offseason, because it starts from the ground up. He’s been working on the strength of his toes especially. He even does some of his workouts barefoot. He’s also been very busy this off-season in terms of business and endorsements that’s one reason why he missed ota’s. He’s also been working out just about every day despite not being at ota’s and the coaches were aware of that.

@Skinsinparadise I agree pretty much 100% with your assessment of our D tackles. Except I would take Payne over Allen. I look at how Payne plays in the playoffs and that puts him over the top IMO. I’m loving having Ioannidis back in the middle. More sacks up the gut for sure. Best pass rushing tackle we have.

It’s like I said from the beginning. People are going to love Ryan Fitzpatrick here as a teammate and person. What I’m focused on is how he plays. I already know he’s an entertaining guy. Someone on YouTube brought up his numbers in his last 8 to 10 starts and his numbers were impressive. But I’m still in wait and see mode. I’m not going to get dazzled by personality alone.

Maybe true. But the difference is Scherff is an All pro. I would like to keep a 29 year old All pro around.

I like a lot of what you said. But Flowers doesn’t belong at the tackle position. He’s a good guard, but a below average tackle. We’ve seen this.

Camp competition has become a big buzz word lately. Are we sure camp competition is as important as we think it is? Do we really end up putting our best players out there based on competition in camp? I’d like to think it’s true, but I’m not sure. Maybe I’m overthinking. -
