Actually I read you as the one who is sometimes, like now, actually ridiculous on the topic (just a couple posts that have stood out to me recently) esp. compared to the poster you're castigating. He presents his argument better than your direct attack mode counter.
You leave yourself open to a rule 5 violation for calling a reasonable poster/post ridiculous and garbage, particularly since that would apply more to your response than his post. Fwiw. 🙂
So you just said my post was garbage/trash. Do the rules apply to both of us or just me?

I broadly agree with the rest of your post, except for the excuses you gave for Heinicke's lack of velocity. He wasn't being pressured on every single pass play, and yet he still had a noodle-arm on every single pass play, I don't think you can blame it solely on being pressured. He's just got a noodle-arm, whether he's being pressured or not.
Its this type of garbage that I have just about had enough of here. He didn't make excuses, he made observations. You think TH has a noodle arm on every play? Last year against Dallas he threw a 50 yard TD to Cam Sims while rolling to his left. Just stop being ridiculous.

Weeelllll, Jerruh Jones did that exact thing with Tom Landry. He was so classless about it that Landry found out from watching TV. Landry had been the coach for 29 seasons and admittedly the team was fading, but he didn't deserve to get canned like that.
And this is the guy that Snyder has always looked up to.
Actually your right. Jerry did it so we should too!! Hope Jerry dosent jump off a bridge though. You would probably be right behind him. lol

Why would a new owner come in and fire a respected head coach? Especially if we actually made the playoffs. Im not a hardcore Ron guy or anything but damn, are we not going to act like Dan wasn't the problem the entire time? I think we would have found success over the last 20 years with some of these coaches if Dan wasn't the owner.
Some of you old heads have been down right ridiculous with your expectations of "tank" 2023 already??? What a joke....I swear Jerry Jones must have a ton of user names on here.

It is weird to me that the best OC gig Jay could find after getting fired was JAX and that he can’t find an OC gig now. These guys murdered his repJay was on with Keim yesterday. Pretty interesting takes, also interesting that several current and very successful head coaches came from his staff. I think Jay was just lacking in the "leadership" department. But he did talk about how Kirk was very detail oriented and Jay himself wasnt. Kinda makes you wonder how you could be a good OC/Head coach if your not detail oriented.

For the life of me, I will never understand the hate this name gets. It's a red wolf, a real animal that was once native to the entire east coast, is ferocious and intimidating, and is everything you should want in a name. I think a lot of people get caught up in the "red" wolf description, like it's some sort of minor league name, or made up world like blue raspberry or pink lemonade ...but it's actually a real animal. Why wouldn't you want to name your team after an intimidating beast?
because the internet told him it sucks.

Hey here's an idea, since Scott turner has been hit or miss why not give him the week off against Minnesota and just have heinicke draw out plays on his chest in the huddle.
if we're gonna be sandlot chuck it up for grabs anyway let's really lean into it.
I really think Turner stalled like 3/4 drive with those terrible screen calls yesterday.

No. Terry did.
He did literally everything he could do to lose the game and it worked out for him.
Yeah Terry avoided like 5 sacks on that drive and terry made a great catch in Samules jersey. Terry made some great passes to himself as well.

It’s because we know what we’re looking at.
Awful QB for 57 minutes, threw a game losing INT which miraculously got caught.
Sorry but that’s just trash. He literally won the game for us with that drive.

Well, winning would change ALMOST everything. It wouldn’t change the owner though
I knew Snyder would be brought into this and its true but Im trying to stay off that topic for a while.

Of course there isn’t, but the odds are in your favor picking early in the draft vs. later.Just two weeks ago, this place was apocalyptic about the state of the roster, coaching staff, etc. Folks were packing Ron’s bags for him. The majority of this forum being in agreement that the roster just isn’t up to snuff to compete.
Since that time they’ve accounted for two wins, one by sucking less than the Bears, the other over what is likely the worst team Aaron Rodgers has ever been tasked with leading.
Bottom line is this is still the same team everyone was unhappy with not long ago. So spare me the “we just gotta win” narrative that only spawned after a few meh wins. I don’t think any of us were under the impression this team was as bad as 1-4 suggested, but they definitely aren’t good enough to compete- particularly in this division where they reside in their usual last place spot.
Well Ill spare you the "winning is everything" narrative if you spare me the "top 5 draft pick or bust" narrative. We have been down the road of the latter lets see what an 8 game winning streak looks like. If something like that were to happen it would change EVERYTHING. Bottom line is, if you have ever played organized sports winning cures everything. The fact is that i cannot "spare you" the truth. You are doing a good job of ignoring it though.

For everyone who says this, or things along these lines, here's a very simple question: Do you think it's generally better to have a higher draft pick or a lower one?
That would depend on whos making the pick. Also i really think your missing his point or just ignoring it. Theres no guarantee on anything in the draft.

I want to know if the defensive coaching staff has the patience and wherewithal to effectively study tape on Ehlinger, find his weaknesses and blind spots due to his inexperience, and design a game plan to exploit those weaknesses and blind spots.
Nope

It’s fun in the moment but horrible if you watch with any sort of big picture look. Every snap he plays is a waste. Every win he gets sets the team further back

That's okay a FG here is good. Would have preferred to run the ball but I do like the PA call. OL just can't pass protect.
I like the call too. With a. Second to throw that ball or survey the field I think we score.

And he call the field the "pitch"
If they can hit on another CB late in the draft that would be huge. Wildgoose may have a future here though.
