  1. Manziel will be the homeless man who tells the Browns to trade for Kirk.
  2. **** the ticket office, call your credit card company.
  3. Go to your CC/bank and tell them you want to do a chargeback.
  4. But what if they cancel your tickets and give them to someone on the waiting list? If they won't let you cancel, call your credit card company.
  5. ^ I already have my "and nothing of value was lost" image macro ready to go.
  6. RG3 said he proved a lot of "people wrong" Fred Greetham Monday at 2:02 PM BEREA, Ohio--Robert Griffin III thinks he made the most of his time on the field, despite playing only five games this season and wants to return to the Browns in 2017. Griffin is due a roster bonus of $750,000 in March and has a $6 million salary for next season. “I think to not play a lot of football in two years and finish the season the way we did or the way I did personally, I feel good about it, but I am not satisfied at all," Griffin said Monday. "I am going to go into this offseason hungrier than ever ready to prove it all over again because that is what you have to do every single day. I do not think anybody has ever said I have been afraid of hard work, and it is never going to change.” Griffin started five games for the Browns and was 87-of-147 for 866 yards (59.2 pct.) with two touchdowns and three interceptions and a 72.5 rating. Griffin was the starting quarterback in the only game the Browns won against the Chargers, but he was knocked out with a concussion. http://www.scout.com/nfl/browns/story/1742511-rg3-said-he-proved-a-lot-of-people-wrong
  7. RG3 had two touchdown passes in the Brown's week 17 overtime loss. It had been just over two years since his last regular season TD pass. The last time he had two touchdown passes in the same game was November 2013.
  8. That's not how to calculate it. You need to do sacks/(attempts+sacks). 18/(107+18) = 14.4% The only QB with a worse percentage this year is Geno Smith, who has 14 attempts plus 3 sacks, a very small sample size. RG3's career sack % is 9.2%, which would be among the worst of all time, except that he doesn't have the 1500 pass attempts required to appear on career leaderboards. And he never will.
  9. We drafted him, mortgaged the future for him. He started 37 games for us. If that doesn't make him ours, what would? He sure isn't the Browns'. With his injury history, he will be out of football very soon, and then he will be forever known as "Former Redskins QB" RG3.
  10. Congrats to the Browns for avoiding 0-16. Our guy got the win, but left with concussion symptoms in the 4th Q after his 7th sack. His statline was 17/25 for 164 yards, no TDs or picks.
  11. There's a chance.. Chargers are 5-9 and likely going to mail it in. Even mailing it in they are better than the Browns, but a few lucky bounces, 103 yard int return, whatever, could give the Browns the win. But it's their last real chance. Week 17 the Steelers could easily still be fighting for the division or even a playoff spot. Even if they are locked into a specific seed, they are not going to let a 0-15 division rival beat them at home to avoid going winless
  12. That is one of the sadder QB highlight videos I've seen. Nothing has improved since 2013. Interesting to see that he's willing to run RO again. @Idaho fanIt's both nature and nurture. Nature sets some hard limits that nurture can't overcome.
  13. As bad as he was after 2012, his statline has almost never been that bad. I would say rather that every QB who makes it to the NFL level has the physical attributes to be an NFL QB. Take the slowest or most noodle arm QB on an NFL roster, for example Colt McCoy -- if you transplant Brady/Manning/Brees' brain into his body, you get a franchise QB capable of winning multiple playoff games for an otherwise average team.
  14. Well, bump. https://www.cleveland.com/browns/index.ssf/2016/12/rg3_sounds_like_hes_starting_v.html I don't like the guy but think he deserves another start or two, just based on how bad the other QBs have been for the Browns this season. On the other hand, they need to look carefully at his contract before putting him back out there -- if he suffers another major injury in these last four weeks, will they automatically be on the hook for his 2017 money?
  15. Are you Dan Snyder?

    1. Gregpeck99

      Gregpeck99

yup ... but you cannot tell anyone ... or I will move your season seats to the end zone!

      Keep the Faith!

      Hail!

  16. Nah, their starting QB will come off IR to get them three or four wins in December.
  17. Oh yeah, that's very common. A couple years ago when my sister had her first child, her husband checked into rehab. No, he's not a user -- he just needed to get out of the house. Come to think of it, he hasn't been back since. Should we go look for him?
  18. Definitely. The NFL really dropped the ball with this week 1 scheduling. Browns-Redskins and Eagles-Steelers would have been much better matchups.
  19. I think their plan for this season is to tank hard and get high draft picks
  20. Eh, I don't think they'll go especially hard after him. He was so well liked in the locker room while he was here!
  21. RIP Tony Romo. Best QB in our era to never win a super bowl, and better than some who have (Eli, Flacco).
