    Wasn't sure which thread to put this in. But I figured everyone would want to know that one of our previous head coaches is feuding with one of our previous QBs on Twitter over **** that happened a decade ago.

    The reason we shouldn't consider Kirk is that we are a very long way from being competitive, both on offense and defense. 2024 needs to be a full reset year. We can draft a QB if the new head coach likes what's available, but otherwise we get a cheap bridge QB just to run the offense for a year.

    Since Kirk left, all Redskins passers in all games have combined for 119 TD passes. Since leaving the Redskins, Kirk has 171 TD passes. He missed 11 games along the way, including being injured for half this season.

    They were both on the team during the Shanahan era. LaCanfora's hit piece complained that the Slowik Jr. was one of Kyle's unqualified friends dragging the organization down.

    Hmmm now where have I heard that name before? I recall a Jason La Canfora article about how this guy sucked and was part of the Redskins dysfunction.

    Text message from my brother on who our next coach should be: Here’s the formula: Look at the top 5 offenses in the NFL. Identify the offensive coordinator who has the most autonomy in playcalling and seems like he can handle head coaching responsibilities. Hire him. No defensive coaches. No washed up “leaders of men.” No college coaches. It’s a pretty simple formula and it’s worked for nearly every team that’s competitive right now.

    This is almost an achievement. Most every team has had a WR screen go for 40 YAC, if nothing else.

    We're allowing 30.4 points per game, which is about the 12th worst in NFL history. Excitingly, we have a chance to set the record for most points allowed in a season. Most of those teams played only 16 games or fewer, but a record is a record. We just need to give up 139 points through the last four games. I think Ron can do it. Who's with me?

    We now have the worst points differential in the NFL. We've allowed more points than anyone else by a long shot.

    Does Tepper pick players, or does he just hire and fire coaches? Regardless, he can't be as bad as Snyder unless his off-the-field actions are truly vile.

    The Lions are paper, um, tigers. Look for them to get bounced in the first round. The Brows would be in great shape to make a deep playoff run if they hadn't just wasted all their picks and money on a busted QB.

    Vikings D just held the Bears to 12 points despite constantly starting in bad field position thanks to Dobbs' interceptions. They aren't even a talented defense, they just blitz like crazy. In fact, one more blitz at the end would have won them the game. So what's our excuse for getting spanked 40-20 by this same Bears team?

    If you mean similar as in win-now mentality without a true rebuild, that's one thing. It's not the best move but it can be done. If you mean similar as in he thinks he personally can pick talent, we're in for another 20 years of being a bottom five NFL team.

    What's sad is how predictable it is based on how you got to 2nd and 10. Incomplete pass on 1st down --> 2nd and 10 draw Run stuffed on 1st down --> 2nd and 10 pass

    Firing your head coach three days before the Thanksgiving Cowboys game would be a complete Snyder move. I think Rivera get gets fired on Black Friday after we drop to 4-8, which is 99% likely to miss the playoffs.

    I saw this coming from the moment the Falcons picked him up. He's a good backup, but not the right choice when you're trying to develop a rookie QB. You want someone like Heinicke on your bench to come in and steal a couple games if your franchise QB gets injured.
