    Any supervisor would tell you... if you have difficult employees that you want to fire for "performance issues" but firing may not be popular with HR, then you put them in a position to prove their worth to the company (which then makes firing very justifiable). Dwayne justified his own termination based on his performance on the field... and not how he graciously tipped in some peeler bar nor how he may or may not have followed mask regulations.

    I'm not much of a conspiracy theorist, but the NFL needed us to lose that game to increase TV audience "interest" in Week 17 in a bunch of key markets. I'm not saying that they intentionally made ticky-tack calls which negated either points (eg. forward progress, ball blown dead) or massive shifts of momentum, but they did have incentive to do so.

    But it wasn't meaningless to me... I was holed up in the overnight maternity ward with my new son and wife. Had nothing else to do but watch MNF... and Colt gave me even more joy on a joyous day!

    Kurt's like... "Hold my Beer." Thanks Disco Mike. I'm a Monarch too... I commented to another friend that TH was just doing his thing.. no surprise to anyone who watched him at Foreman Field. He made the Carolina defense look like it was Campbell University. just knifed them up like a hot knife thru butter.

    @Spaceman SpiffI think people are generally infatuated with QBs who dont throw consistent 3-and-outs... and we were subjected to that torture for the past 3 weeks with injured Alex and Make it Rain Dwayne at the helm (SF, SEA, CAR). TH was a breath of much-needed fresh air. I just hope TH is damage-tolerant enough to last 60 minutes against the iggles.

    I love me some Alex Smiff! LOL And don't forget the storyline about how the Washington Football Team endured adversity from the highest levels and kept itself in the playoff hunt despite the best efforts of Dwayne Haskins.

    Pretty sure we made the hard decision to waive Make it Rain Dwayne Haskins to clear a roster spot for the return of Dontrelle "The Truth" Inman.

    ODU fans that watched TH last night weren't surprised by his offensive spark and efficiency to move the chains... he's been doing that at Old Dominion for years.... 15,000 passing yards. It's been my christmas wish to watch Taylor lead the Redskins to the playoffs.... and now he'll be given the chance. Thanks Ron!

    Yeah, but they didnt have to contend with the spread offense... West Coast Offense, Mahomes, vaccines, the internets, The Rona, and a lot of other problems in today's Super Bowl-era NFL

    I was at the supermarket and thought about that same thing when I was checking out! adding few quality linebackers to this core.

    Terry came alive in one drive catching back-to-back 1st downs... He definitely earned us the 3 points on that drive. However, he also had a false start penalty at 3rd and 5. The next play, Logan catches a 5 yard pass, and we settle for that FG. What might have been. Get well Scary Tony!

    Now if VanderEsch put that kind of block into Scary Tony McLauren after that Cowboys interception.... They still woulda lost! LOL

    I mean, I was most impressed at halftime in the SF game, when Chase was reported to not be recharging with his teammates in the locker room... but was on the field kicking 50 yard Field Goals. That's impressive that Chase wanted to help for a struggling Hopkins. After scoring that TD, this kid Chase Young can really do it all!

    I cannot fathom how some people claim he's a BUST. Really? Dude was worth every cent of his Number 2 Overall pick out on that field today. I even got texts from Steelers fans who were watching and pulling for us.

    I was going to post a comparison of our 1st round WR pick versus Seattle's 2nd round WR pick (DK metcalf)... but I thought better of it. and I was worried the mods would feel i was being mean... so i didnt.

    I was actually thinking he was going to punch out the ball for the fumble... was surprised/disappointed when he dove for his ankles. This shows the tremendous expectations I have for Tony McLaurin. Still though, I was curious why Vanderesch didn't block him with more ooomph. Terry just ran around him. Usually, you see some really good lights-out blocks after interceptions.

    Then we better hope that they beat division-rival Baltimore, and have less to play for when WFT/WTF steps on the field. Heck, I was hoping they'd bench BigBen to preserve him for their SB run.
