  1. Okay folks just made me a gin and tonic. ...we should be good to go from here.
  2. Honestly. The Broncos are hitting the second and third levels on every play. This is crazy.
  3. Very happy Sam held on to that ball.
  4. Love the left to right play. We are about to gas this defense if it keeps up.
  5. BROB was about to bulldoze someone!
  6. Very happy we attacked the field and got at least 3. Last year we would have attacked with a 5 yard post followed by 2 draws and a punt.
  7. Never change folks..Never cha... Actually, it would be nice to wait until the 4th quarter to share the doom and gloom. 80% sure that there is a 60% chance we will win this.
  8. The defense looks faster. I know we are fresh and this is early. But damn is it good to see.
  9. @TK Glad this was posted. Great closer for TH, the DMV and the forum.
  10. It a real as gravity and so is leverage. Dan will likely receive some form of indemnification.
  11. I love it. However I'm an official member of team Howell...and should now be referred to as a "Howling Howeller"
  12. Woah there Con. You are going to the other extreme of broad brushing, when many of us (me) are waxing poetic about some sweet memories in this bog of pig manure that has been the last 30 years of our preferred franchise. (I choose to celebrate the dive into the end zone to get us into the playoffs and the 2 "F### it .. Terry's down there" throws with his eyes closed and the team rallying around it TH. The Jordans, the Chase Young shot where he's pointing to TH's last name..etc.etc.). There is no doubt that every NFL player in the last 25 years have been making financial decisions. Never in doubt, never a question. Doesn't matter. Football is an emotional sport with an incredible symbiotic relationship with it's fandom. While no one wants to be on the receiving end of a Alvin Walton hit in the open field..we all can feel for the poor receiver or celebrate with the secondary. The fuzzy definition of "effort" matters and no one can question the story of TH and how "his effort" good, bad or indifferent was portrayed on the field and subsequently, how it was received by fans across the league, sponsors, the NFL front offices or his peers.
  13. Grandkids absolutely got our back. Wishing TH4 all the best. I have never felt more hope and despair, simultaneously, than when he stepped on the field. That dude all ways gave it everything he had.
  14. The following were all offensive coordinators, or quality control staff under Andy Reid. Each received a Head Coaching opportunity: Doug Peterson (Quality Control/QB Coach) Brad Childress (OC/QB Coach) Matt Nagy (Quality Control) Pat Schumer (QB Coach with 2 years of OC) Neither of them called plays in a live game while Reid was activity coaching/unimpaired. They may have helped with design but not active play calling. I hope this helps.
  15. Fun fact. Andy Reid never called plays while under Mike Holmgren (first play call in the NFL was as head coach of the eagles). Fun fact part 2: There has been 4 coaches from the offensive side of Andy Reid's coaching tree that got an opportunity to be a head coach in the NFL (Doug Peterson being the most successful). ...none of them, not one, called plays while under Andy Reid. That said, we all will find out together. I just want the noise around his OC play calling to end.
