The road to hell really is paved with good intentions. A company switched from vials and syringes to a pen device so patients could administer the drug themselves (and probably lower costs, not to just themselves but to the patients (more likely the health insurance companies) to not have a doctor administer the drug) the switch was rushed to meet deadlines. The company is now failing QC testing for the new pen device and patients are getting worse results with the pen. there was some good intentions but probably some greed behind it all.
