Questioning yes, instantly giving up or instant full blow criticism on a pick is ridiculous.
You let it pay out first, don’t you ?
Some of these ‘absolute’ QB prospect opinions are borderline staggering in what is clearly a very open race.
Ok so it was hyperbole.
Maye has ?
Maye had a down year in 2023 by comparison. And yep, Daniels excelled in 2023 surrounded by stud receivers.
Pros and cons to both.
To suggest Daniels needs a significantly stronger OL and WR group than Maye is ridiculous.
Damn what did I miss
Based on the amount of DL free agents we’ve brought in, plus we seem to be looking hard at DL in the draft too, Allen could well be a trade candidate.
Lets flip him to SF for Aiyuk.
It’s illogical, IMO, for us to be less than 2 weeks out from the draft and still not have a strong preference. Still being very undecided right now on that would be a concern for me.
I mean, on balance it does appear a 50/50 call just looking specifically at the Daniels v Maye discussion.
Going Daniels likely indicates a stronger weighting on short term returns, IMO.
Just to pick up on this point, he specifically does in that interview, so what do you mean by this ?
Yeah agree with this.
Perhaps some traits from there differing ages comes through as well.
JJ is the absolute wildcard. He potentially has the most untapped potential of the lot. Or he has nothing. GMs job is to determine that isn’t it. He’s being slept on though.
