    I think it’s very plausible that we are trying to convince NE that we are more than open to trading back. If they 100% want Daniels, its not unrealistic to think they’d flip picks with us to get him.

    I don’t see that as an issue. AZ traded from 3 to 12 last year, then right back up to 6. Giants at #6 is the cleanest route through, I agree.

    So have we basically used Daniels to create a smokescreen, give him the special treatment when really it’s Maye all along ? Is that what’s going on, perhaps getting NE to bite on a little trade up to #2 for Daniels, just to be sure they get their guy ?

    Got to be honest, I’m a fan of this whole draft visit format. We know what the players have talent wise, this is taking the edge off a fairly long drawn out process for the prospects.

    Honestly SIP, i know my take rubs people the wrong way, but damn, the volume turns up on us taking Daniels and half the board has folded. That’s just bizarre on every level to me. Anyway.
