Tom Brady is a Cali guy. Drafted in the 6th round by a team on the East coast. My point? Either you can play, or you can't.
-
If a player doesn't want to play somewhere, then pull a Kobe or Eli.
Personally, I agree with the poster that said if a team is paying me 5 million a year, I will play wherever they want me to. It's not like a player is forever tied to the city he is drafted. Sheesh.
-
I don't get either of the current conversations going on in this thread. Neither makes a lick of sense to me. Sigh.
-
Would love to see the Hornets package their picks and players to bring Love to Charlotte to reunite with Jefferson. Thing is, I have my doubts that he would want to sign a long term deal.
And Joe: there is nothing "illegal" about getting drafted to a team in a city you don't want to play in. If a guy doesn't want to play in Milwaukee, he can go get a regular job like everyone else. Stop being silly.
-
Again if it was rigged a major market would have won
That's not true. Look at when New Orleans got it over Charlotte, despite the Bobcats winning 7 games. That was rigged to keep that team afloat.
Same with Cleveland and LeBron.

Read the end of my second to last post.4 times they've started out 0-1... Just sayin.
-
Nah, I rarely pull the "thug" card out. But that isn't limited to blacks, at all. Aaron Hernandez is the biggest one around.

You remembered that sticker discussion? haha Man, that is another peeve of mine. And I know the sunglasses and hat thing are mostly things I see black guys do, but it's not limited to them. A lot of white guys, Kris Medlen immediately comes to mind, wear their caps with a flat bill. Great pitcher (when healthy), but he looks like a total dork. Also that golfer that wears the loud Puma gear.lol
Man, I am very interested in knowing which types of people you think are not douchey... (This is stemming from our greatest debate. The "Why leave the sticker on the hat" debate lol)
The Heat are not done. People were saying the same thing about the Pacers when we took it to them in game 1 in the conference semi's.
I must admit though, David West has been on fire these last two games. He killed us in game 6, and he killed the Heat in game 1. If he continues to shoot like that, forget the ECF, the Pacers are going to mess around and take the whole thing.
And I knew someone would go with the blind thing on me. That would be one of the exceptions, along with people that just had laser eye surgery.
Btw, I don't really think the Heat are done. That was just a little dig at Mr Sin hehehe

LeBron is such a douche. Check that, anyone that wears sunglasses indoors, is one. No exceptions.

For what, losing to arguably the best team in the NBA?Russy is the best point guard in the NBA.
CP0 and Blake better get fried for this. No ifs, ands, or buts.
-
He was calling Beal, "Beal Parmesan" a week or so ago.Right man.
Shaq just gave Kawhai (sp) Leonard a new name. He called him Sugar K. Leonard lol
And last night when they were discussing SVG taking the Pistons job, Barkley called them "bums". Lol
Kerr is a Cali guy. Plus he has ties to several guys in the Warriors' front office. Plus the GS job is a MUCH better one than the NYK one. It's not shocking at all.RT @BryanDFischer Well then. RT @daldridgetnt: Stunner: Steve Kerr spurns the Knicks, accepts Warriors' head coach job.
To be fair Knicks are garbage with or without Anthony
Warriors are a good young team
I can see why he would spurn the Knicks. Phil's there but the Warriors are just a better situation.

That play with Barnes and Jackson didn't cost the Clippers the game. In fact, by rule, it was the correct call. I like Doc, but it was dumb for him to even harp on it after the game. When you're up 7 with :49 and don't win the game, then you can't blame the officials.
Btw, did anyone see what Westbrook had on after the game? Lmao
-
Chris Paul took the blame for that loss, but it wasn't all on him. You should never blow a 7 point lead with :49 to go. Inexcusable.
-
Pacers-Heat. Who didn't see that coming?
-
WTF Stephenson?
-
I really want to see someone deck that guy.I would love to see Barnes try to fight Perkins, please.
-
That was great stuff. How can anyone not like that guy.I just watched it too.
Yeah, he's not leaving OKC. Dude is too loyal. Too much of a nice person to leave that team. He's going to be a Thunder until they don't want him anymore.
-
Yup. It makes no sense at all. And didn't it all start when Granger left?
Btw, I know you guys heard about Turner and Stephenson, right? Supposedly the things Hill is referencing go a lot deeper than that though.
-
Jemele Hill said today that there are probably going to be some crazy stories come out this summer about some Pacers players. The Pacers are finished.. Whatever they had during most of the regular season is done. It's been done. I'd be surprised at this point if they get past WSH
-
Speaking of commercials. That one with Damian Lillard is awesome! Lol
Nevermind. I forgot some of you are just pups. You guys probably wouldn't even know who B Sanders or Karl Malone were if you saw them.
Damn, I'm old.

That's the one I used on you in that thread you made about Rihanna.Jesus Christ, that 5 year old Drake Sprite commercial needs to die....yesterday.
At least have his ass film a new one. They play it every break
I think I may have butchered it though lol
-
Yeah, going for the family jewels on a 3pt attempt, not smart Blake lol.
I bet the officials tighten down the calls in the 4th though. This **** has been crazy for near 3 quarters though.
I'm not a fan of Barnes, but that was a good hard foul on Curry earlier. Glad they changed it to a common foul.
All and all, I think the officials have done a nice job.

ZBo is an idiot. Lucky for him, Conley was already out, so they weren't going to win, anyway. Still, that's just DUMB.

I understand your point, LKB. It's just that I have a hard time having sympathy for an 18-20 year old making 5 mil, not landing in an ideal situation.
