  1. Always full of it and yourself eh BS? For many, It's not only about $. It's not wanting to do business with Companies like Comcast. It's return on investment. Spending $80+/mo is a lot when you're only watching a handful of channels.

Inhave the basic package at DTV, so I pay $100 for a handful of channels. And I could easily pay a lot less per month if I wanted to. It's very easy to get them to knock $20 a month off your bill there.

My issue isn't with people that can't afford it. It's with those that stream channels illegally. I'm sorry, but if you do that, you're cheap. Not to mention, dishonest.

  2. Bunch of cheap people in this thread. Seriously, you guys think $100 is too much to pay a month? You could actually get DTV for a little less than that. And if you know how to work the system, you could pay a LOT less than that per month.

  3. Are you going to embarrass yourself in this thread just like the MLB thread? Come on man.

You obviously have me confused with Kyle.

Come on. Some of you guys were ripping K for cutting Wall and keeping Irving. K obviously knew what he was doing.

Wall is a decent player. But he will never be better than Irving.

  4. If we don't completely blow Houston out in every facet of the game, I may have to quit the internets until after the season.

Why would you expect a 3-13 team to blow anyone out?

I'm just meh to start the season. Maybe I'll be more excited tomorrow.

I want the Redskins to do well this season but I won't be surprised if they fall flat. I won't be too terribly upset if they do either. I empathize with the mods who will be on clean up duty all weekend.

Fantasy football helps me get through the lean years. I'm excited for our season to start, but I have learned to go into a new season with low expectations. That makes anything good we do a positive. Hail!
  5. I wouldn't be so sure about Cleveland. I don't think they'll be a juggernaut this year. It takes more than assembling a handful of All Stars to be a good team. Maybe they become a super team with another offseason to gel and build the right roster around their big three. I like the Wizards's chances against them this year.

    Of course you do.

I thought the Cavaliers got the best of that trade. Wiggins is an unknown in the NBA. Love is not.

Plus if I'm unsure I always look at who is pulling the trigger. Flop Saunders? Yeah, the Cavs made out better.

Yup. Love had the 3rd best PER last year.

Wiggins is unproven. And Bennett has been a huge bust to this point. Young was a great addition though. Solid player.

  6. Rumors that Colangelo and Coach K are going to keep Mason Plumlee over DeMarcus Cousins.

    Durant out, Rudy Gay in.

This team is going to be a ****ing joke.

    Chill dude, damn.

I think Coach K knows what he's doing. I'm a big fan of Cousins'. I think he's the best C in the NBA. But maybe he just isn't cut out for the World game? Maybe he's being lazy in practice? You aren't there. You have no idea what is going on.

  7. Can't wait to see my boy Zo go into the Hall tomorrow. Been a long time coming.

Loved him with the Hornets. There have been few guys in the history of the league that played harder than that guy.

Durant out from Team USA. He just screwed them.

    Eh, Good. **** Coach K.

Coach K is great. So he cut the Wiz backcourt. Get over it. Geez.
  8. Even if you do take Love over all of them, I listed 13 players, 7 was listed in that post, that still means Love would have been behind six players. And that is my main point, he's not top 5 and probably isn't top 10.

Shoot, I forgot about Bosh and Wade too.

ML, Love is definitely top 10. Without question.
  9. If you think Aldridge only had one great season, I can't talk basketball with you anymore lol

Last year you could make a case he was as good as Love. But I'm not going to put him ahead of Love, off just last year.

Btw, you are the same guy that just had Kobe and Rose in top 5 "now". Two guys that barely saw the court last year lol. Nice going!

  10. Nope, I knew you were gonna say Cousins I was just yanking your chain. I think it was Cousins in the regular season as well, but Dwight did step up in the playoffs in a way I didn't think he was capable of, even if it was all for naught. I'm not gonna penalize Cousins for who he played with so I can't do it to Dwight either.

Dwight did step it up in playoffs, true. But if I'm going off the entire season, I'm not putting him in top 5.

Another reason is, Dwight can often be a liability in the 4th quarter, because of his poor FT shooting. If you're (his critics) going to penalize Love for not being a great defender, then you have to penalize DH for his FTs.

  11. If he doesn't develop an allergy to paint and keeps up his defensive rebounding rate on a team with LeBron/Another star I'm definitely with you. I don't think he's a Shareef Abudr-Rahim in terms of putting up numbers on a losing squad, I just want to see what his game looks like on a real team first.

I think I know who you think the top center was...

Cousins was the best center. You probably thought I was going to say Jefferson. And you can make a case he was better, too. And maybe Noah also.

I'm not saying Love is 'definitely' top 5. But for someone to say "no way", or "probably top 10", well, that's pretty silly. Especially the latter.

  12. Top 5, no way. He has nice stats but he pads them playing meaningless games, many of which are blowouts and you cannot throw him the ball down the stretch and say, go get me a bucket, the game is tied.

No way? Of course he would be in the mix.

Love isn't top five. LeBron, Durant, Griffin, Paul, Dwight. That's five that are better right there.

But he's probably top ten. There is a lot of flux going on in the top ten. Are Dirk, Kobe, and Derrick Rose still top ten players? Wade and Bosh? Tony Parker? Dirk probably still is, but I don't know about any of the others.

Is James Harden a top ten player? Is Paul George? I would think Love is more deserving of that kind of ranking than they are. Maybe more deserving than Melo too, but I'm not convinced about that one yet.

I think that today, Love is in the 5-11 tier with Dirk, Westbrook, Melo, Curry, and LaMarcus Aldridge.

Dwight wasn't even the top center last year.

And "probably" top 10? Tell me you were joking.
