Probably, but I think sometimes choice words have their place. In the end, you agreed with me, you just didnt like the person saying it (me). Which is the intended affect. I dont want you to like having to fight dirty, and I want you to associate people who call for this with a negative feeling -- for later, after the victory, so that we remember to re-set the atmosphere to more civil conditions. But, thats later. The first step to fighting dirty, is to realize that you're getting dirty. Youre not supposed to like it, but you gotta recognize it. Remember the distaste, once you achieve victory, and become something better once victorious, God-willing.

I dont care where you draw yours from, but I strongly suggest that it be based upon reality, experience, or the experiences of others. The last thing it should be based on is some Aaron Sorkin-like fantasy, or whatever the Republicans are suggestings Democrats should be like.

Republicans were under no Constitutional obligation to confirm Garland, and they are under no obligation to wait now. As matter of fact, why would they? Because what? They promised? Cant really control riots, if the anger is enough, any one riot thats put down will lead to an angrier riot the next. Lets not go down the Syria path. This graph is highly believable, and lines up with what we see with our own eyes, from how empty Fedex is when we play a small market team, to how its only full when is full of opposing team fans of a large-market team. Okay, its the 21st century, well into it, so we have the technology to place a sensor on the holster of cop's guns. Every time they draw their guns, the sensor should transmit a signal with time/place/officer information back to the police station. Then, cops should be required to submit a full report, explaining why they felt the need to draw their gun, and how this was in line with their training regarding threat assessment and force escalation. Cops hate paperwork, so if you demand a one page report, every single time -- I guarantee you cops will start thinking twice before drawing their guns. Simple solutions, people, until we can train a better police force. Any police station that consistently has an discrepancy between "tripped holster signals" and "drawn gun reports" should have its commanding officers demoted, and all members submitted to basic police training in appropriate force escalation. If you force cops to justify, in a full written report, why they draw their gun, every single time they draw their gun ... eventually they will reflexively stop to think before drawing their gun, and ask themselves is this really worth it. We will train them with more evolved techniques after they prove to be worthy of more evolved techniques. Oh and as another nice feature, the signal from the holster could also automatically force a cop's bodycam to be turned on, and a record kept of the following 5 minutes of footage. This footage should be automatically available to the public. The Public's gonna have to do the job of overseeing cops until they get their **** in order, if they ever do.

You may have a point, I guess when you have big orange fish to fry, everything else takes a back seat. But I still think the fact they are cheerleaders has something to do with the muted outcry, maybe not from #metoo, but at least the general public....

The NFL seems to be taking the position to just wait and see how things play out. THey have the luxury of doing that, mostly because the national outcry on this story has been limited. I been pretty disappointed in the #metoo movement's lack of response in this case. And I think I know why, and without derailing this thread completely, it has a lot too do with bias against women who are in professional roles that feminists traditionally turn their nose up at. I think Ill leave it at that.

Go Keith Ellison! Honestly, its true, this was a particularly egregious crime. The body language indicated they were trying to make a statement that they can get away with it. Need a particularly strong response of no you cannot, but we can sentence you to more than the maximum penalty.

It is unspeakably hurtful to black people. To many AA's, the BLM movement is basically saying, "Comeon yall, we're trying to give you a little credit here, we know that you at least think our lives matter, right? Right?? Right????" The passive-aggressive denial of the response, "All Lives Matter," is such a **** statement, thatd Id almost have more respect for them if they just said, "No." Like they think Im dumb enough not realize that All Lives Matter is a No response anyhow.

Consenting adults -- different situation, even if prostitution is a crime, its just not as morally outrageous as coercing nude tapes out of unsuspecting, unwilling, or uncompensated female employees.

We tried that. It didnt work, as is clearly obvious. Do you know how die-hard you had to be as a fan, to put up with the last two decades of the on-field product. But we dealt with that, and stuck it through. However, for me and many others, cheerleader-gate is just too much to deal with. It's not just embarassing or disappointing (like the on-field performance), its flat out repulsive. Its becoming almost a moral obligation for anybody with respect for women, and a general sense of morality -- to simply stop supporting this product.

Basdically, like saying "come on white people, we know you're not THAT heartless, you at least acknowledge that our lives matter, right? Right?? Right???" Its stunning that the response would be a passive-aggressive denial like "All lives matter." As Dave Chapelle said, I hope people will listen to these protests, cause after that, aint nothing but rat-a-tat-tat.

The movement would gain a lot more traction if they termed the movement, "Re-appropriation of funds for public safety and protection." Not quite as catchy, but easier to get a broad consensus on this, I believe, than simply defund the police -- which does not imply a or identify a solution, and therefore appears to invite chaos.

Correction -- thats where they re-planted the knife that they found in the glovebox/center compartment. Who the **** drives around with a knife in the floorboard? It was probably too difficult, given the amount of attention by onlookers, given that Blake's body was right underneath that door, to quickly plant anything in the driver's side door. The knife still had to be somewhere close accessible, close-by, for the story to make sense. Floorboard was the only option for them to plant it, so thats where it was found.

Why is it soo important for you to find some blame in the victim? Its a rhetorical question for you, that most of us already suspect we know the answer to. It says a lot about someone to see the tape, know the consequences to Blake and all the fallout, and still come out and basically just be like, "But wait, wait, I just wanna make sure that we all agree on one thing -- justice must ensure that Mr. Blake is at least charged for failure to comply with a lawful order. Thats all I care about...". I know thats not exactly what you said, but do you have any idea how incredibly grotesque you look, when you focus on the victim's' imperfections? Stop, just stop.
