I'd be shocked if it was Norv. A couple things, he's 66 and heard on a podcast (wish I could find it) he is really leaning toward retirement. A guy called in the other day on the Junkies and said he sat next to Norv on a plane out of Charlotte and the guy asked him about coming back to Washington. He said absolutely not. Who knows but I don't see it happening.

Yeah, it's just weird they are drawing this out and not just cutting him loose given the tweet from a few days ago. I guess they technically control his employment thru 2020 but there seems some reason for not just letting him go.

Or RR is getting these guys in here he wants and they will all get together and figure out if it's a fit for KOC.

I would prefer RR select a younger OC that has some innovated play calling to keep up with new trends in the NFL. It was so hard to watch a Callahan run driven offense this year. Things didn't get interesting until he let KOC start designing the Offensive game plan.

Also could be a contingency plan should KOC leave this year or next. I like it.

I wonder if KOC has been offered the QB job vs OC? That might explain the "working it out" issue. Just a thought...

These are some interesting subtweet theories... I think it's Rob Chudinski or Todd Downing. Downing was Jacks OC in 2017. Chudinski turned around Carolina offense during Cam's rookie year he eventually got Cleveland HC job off of it. Then was with Chuck Pagano till 2017 who's family is close with Jack and Ron. Todd Downing, Rob Chudinski, Pat Shurmur, Scott Turner would be surprised if it isn't one of them. Jake Peetz I'd say will be Qb coach and Carolina Te coach is close with Ron I'd expect the staff to be filled by those guys. He is really loyal to a fault with coaches. However, when Ron talks about seeking permission Caldwell and Downing would qualify because they're with other teams.

Ron is obviously treating his coaching selection like he's going to do with players. Look out, nobody is going to be given a job - it's going to have to be earned and with full out effort.

Ron seems like an old school guy, play tough defense, run the ball, etc. That's probably why KOC isn't a fit kinda like what was going on when Callahan was here.

Hope this works out but Rivera may just flat out have another philosphy on the offense he wants to run.

Check firing of entire training and conditioning staff. Changes coming....
