  1. I love what our young receiving corps is doing to help this offense!
  2. Hoffman's insight had to do with 3 or 4 dropped balls, not just one and relying on somebody to keep drives alive. I hope he's wrong.
  3. Hoffman on the Junkies this morning believes Josh Doctson worked his way back on the roster because of Cam Sims lack luster performance. Also said Steven Sims being only a return guy will probably not make the 53 because of gunners like Robert Davis, etc. They'll try to stash him on PS.
  4. That was Craig Hoffman's point on the Junkies this morning. Even though Doctson hasn't had huge production, he knows the offense and is always done what he's told to do, being in the right place on routes, etc. Hoffman seems to think he will make the 53 but says the only thing that might eliminate him is talent from the other WR's on teams.
  5. Hope this is a sign and he starts renting! LOL
  6. I think they do really like Sims and maybe a little smoke from Gruden....
  7. This is silly, why don' they just call it a meet and greet with ****tails and lunch....LOL It won’t look much like football, but the Redskins will formally gather at Redskins Park for the first time today as they start voluntary offseason workouts. The CBA outlines what can and can’t be done during each part of the program. During Phase One, which starts today, most of the activity is conditioning. Only strength and conditioning coaches can supervise the players on the field or even observe the activities. Per the CBA “no footballs are allowed to be used” and the players can’t wear helmets, just so you don’t think that this phase is getting back to football in any meaningful way. The one exception is that quarterbacks can throw to receivers, but the receivers can’t be covered. The coaches can meet with the players for a limited period of time each day during each phase, so they can start to roll out the playbook to Alex Smith and company. The first phase lasts two weeks. Then they move on to Phase Two, which starts to look more like football. Coaches can be on the field, supervising drills and individual instruction. They break out the footballs and the offense and defense can line up, but not against each other. They also can’t do any individual drills like one-on-one pass protection or coverage.
  8. Hope R.Davis pans out this year. Would be nice to have him competing.
  9. Wonder if Fisher was still in the league and Skins had to play them if he'd send out 1 guy for the coin toss!
  10. I don't know whether this has been posted but Vernon Davis is a huge Curling fan, like an ambassador or something. I saw this interview and Curling 101 teaching Craig Melvin how to do it and thought it was funny. https://www.today.com/news/craig-melvin-learns-olympic-curling-nfl-player-vernon-davis-t122835
  11. I'm paid up on 5 and hoping I can get one set (sect 118) closer to the 50. Hope that those of you not renewing are in the lower bowl! :ols:
  12. I don't know how old gramps is but I wouldn't take my die hard 82 year old mother to this game. Elderly's are fragile enough in 40* weather, let alone when it's raining. I'd sub in a younger friend and promise to take gramps to another game later in the season. There will be plenty of tix after the bye.
  13. A chargers forum have some that are funny too!!
  14. OMG..Mona Eli is frickin' hysterical!
