  1. Definitely. Sanders went way earlier than that in our ES draft, but there are other good TEs that we can get with that pick. Maybe Theo Johnson.
  2. Not a fan of JLC, but as you all know he’s not the only one saying this. Not sure if it’s just Clickbait or not, but when it comes to JJ, I’ll believe it when I see it. If Adam peters actually likes him better than both of the other guys, I’ll be shocked but you can sign me up.
  3. This idea that you can build up a powerhouse roster, and somehow keep them all together while you look for a quarterback to go with it just doesn’t seem workable. You have no idea how long it will take to find a q.v., and whether the QB will need seasoning. Quarterback or not, the way the players are paid today you are constantly rebuilding at every position anyway it seems. So might as well focus on the most important position first and foremost. If you are lucky enough to land one, it’s not that difficult to supplement your roster with veterans to get it over the top. There are always great players available, who are a little bit older, but perfect for a win now situation. Get the QB first!
  4. I agree with this. But Sam had trade value, so why not cash in and pick up a different late round developmental dart throw?
  5. good thing Joe Burrow is over there because otherwise the left side of the chart is not looking like very good company for Daniels to be in!
  6. I agree a veteran back up is preferred for a rookie starter. Plus long term I think peters values the extra draft capital more than holding on to whatever upside as a franchise QB (if any) Howell still has. This is a rebuilding season anyway, especially if our rookie QB can’t start for any reason.
  7. Ha ha I was thinking the same thing. The videos right there for all of us to watch and make up our own minds! Biased or not, I appreciate the time that was spent creating that post.
  8. Thanks CB, your assessment means a lot to me as well! He was kind of buried on some of the older rankings lists I looked at, but on the more recent stuff he is moving up.
  9. Tough call between junior Colson and Theo Johnson with my last pick. Apparently, no chance I was getting both. Then Stover went the pick right before me, leaving Wiley as the last TE that I really liked. It did feel like a bit of a reach, but hearing he is one of your guys makes me feel a lot better about the pick, so thanks!
  10. Pick 102 Seahawks take Jared Wiley TE (TCU) @clskinsfan and the pats is up….
  11. Nice job screwing over the Cowboys!
  12. Pick 81- Seahawks take LB Junior Colson (Michigan) Dog on Defense for new coach MacD
  13. Zero is too low for me. I don’t see the antics of a crazy parent or family member as a dealbreaker, but it’s definitely at least a distraction, so it does matter. Especially when making such a close call between two prospects. And we are a franchise that could really use a few years without off the field drama. But I agree with you that if peters is OK with it, so am I.
  14. C’mon CB nice pick but you shoulda let him fall—would look better in B & G than purple! 😁
  15. Take as long as you want, but don’t ever take down that picture of Ovi holding the cup!
  16. Pick 16: Seahawks take T/G Troy Fautanu (Washington)
  17. Def a red alert. The similarities to RG keep coming up. Maybe it’s no big deal but with such a close decision between the two, why take a chance on a possible diva parent when we can just take Drake Maye? There are nits to pick with the games of both of these guys, but off the field Drake hasn’t said or done a single thing to cause worry.
  18. Having a bad O line leads to extra secondary pressure making it much more difficult to avoid a sack in cases where you manage to escape the first pass rusher. A good line affords more time to find a receiver, or just throw the ball away, after avoiding the initial rush.
  19. Interesting. This has been the holdup for me on Daniels. With his speed, and the players around him, it makes no sense he would take so many sacks. And I think this chart helps explain the struggles of Howell and Fields. Avoiding sacks seems more a matter of instinct than athleticism.
  20. I’ll be back to draft for the Seahawks again.
  21. Doesn’t look good. They’ll give him this year just in case, but are probably planning to replace him by next year. Good college player, but the big red flag was he’s just too skinny to play in the NFL and that’s exactly how it’s played out. The lesson learned here is probably something we should apply to our conundrum of which QB to take at number two.
  22. Yeesh. Forbes is worst in the entire league at press coverage and buy a good bit. Hard to chalk that up to just coaching. Understand nobody expected it to be a strength for him, but if that’s the best he can do, I’m not holding my breath that he turns into anything useful. Best case scenario, he’s a one dimensional player that you can’t press with. Nice ****ing pick Ron 😡
  23. Move up into the first round for an LT is the move I would make. Package one of the seconds with another pick. And try to sign T Smith to a 1 yr contract if he’ll do it. Jonah Williams really seems like a desperation play that won’t work.
  24. Poaching these cowgirls players was expected and is welcome! #TAKECOWMAND Falcons must have missed Matt Ryan so much they decided to sign a new stat accumulating statue that chokes in big games. Eagles moves smell of desperation, especially Saquon no idea what the **** the Vikings are doing. I guess they want to show all the players they could’ve signed if it weren’t for Kirks contract? this is fun!
