Whoa, this is going to be interesting if it's true.

I dislike him mainly because I thought it was lame how he dodged the Rashad fight. It was all set up then he backs out because he claims he needs surgery on a injury he's had since college. So at that point Rashad, not wanting to wait a year, schedules a new fight. Almost instantly once that's locked up Jones changes his mind and decides he doesn't need to have surgery after all and quickly schedules a fight with someone else, saying he doesn't want to wait on Rashad now. Now, I'd pick Jones in a fight versus Rashad, but it just seemed kind of like he was ducking the guy that has trained with him a lot and probably understands him the best. I'm not even a Rashad fan, but the way it played out really made Jones look like he was scared of him and dodging the fight.

It's kind of depressing how often fight judges (boxing and mma) seem to see rounds in some alternate reality.

Yeah, most unlikeable boxer of his generation. I had to laugh in the post fight interview with his right eye beaten shut and the other one swollen when he looked at the camera after losing and said Cotto hits like a girl...hah.

That's the thing with boxing, these kind of things vary so wildly from state to state. I've seen so many fights where a guy fought 5-6 rounds with an eye totally swollen shut.

I'm sure Margarito would love another fight, but like they mentioned during the post-fight....Cotto is probably going to be setup for a bigger fight. I can't imagine a third fight being much different than this one, it only takes one shot to win but point-wise it was over before the stoppage. It seems the majority of the boxing world tend to discredit the first fight because everyone knows Margarito is a cheater.

I love this Kellerman interview, it's really obvious he thinks Margarito cheated the first time around.. "How does it feel to beat him in a fair fight?"

Yeah, poor stoppage. The eye had been swollen shut for quite some time but he could still fight.

Mayhem doesn't really care about fighting that much. Margarito is like 4-5 inches taller and has a better reach. Cotto has looked pretty good since the last fight with Margarito, only lost to Manny (almost took him the distance). I can't stand Margarito, they should have never given him a license to box again in the US. He cheated in a way that could have seriously injured (possibly killed) another fighter.

The 4th round will be the one that matters. I thought Hendo won the first 3 minutes fairly solidly, but the last 2 minutes went to Rua.
