Yeah, Cotto showed well during the middle rounds but Mayweather wins an easy decision. Wake me up when he fights Manny.

These backup broadcasters are as annoyingly behind Mayweather as Lampley is against him. I'm not sure which is worse...

With 2 rounds remaining, it's fairly safe to assume that Cotto isn't going to win a decision. He needs to finish him if he wants a win.

Round 9 was close, guess I'd go for Mayweather. 6-3 Mayweather. His lack of power against a naturally heavier fighter is showing a bit.

Nothing would make me happier than to see Mayweather lose right before he has to go to prison. I like him as a boxer but he's so damn annoying. That being said, I'd be *shocked* if Cotto pulls this one out, thinking TKO in the 10th.

Right, I didn't mean to imply he has to immediately make the jump, but in the next couple years. He just can't sit there at LHW forever though. I mean he could, but it would be less impressive than moving up and losing the massive size advantage (he'll still have the best reach even there) and dominating with pure skill.

If he's as worried about his legacy as he claims (wanting to be one of the all time greats) he has to move up though. You can't sit there and just dominate much smaller fighters and never move up for a challenge. Jones probably walks around at what? 230ish? JDS isn't *that* much bigger.

Hendo has a much shorter reach than Rashad....I think Jones will have like a 13 inch reach advantage or so. It's going to be absurd looking. If he can land it clean though it'll be interesting to see how Jones takes it.

The power from guys like JDS would be an issue. He's tough but he wouldn't be able to walk those bigger guys back like he does right now, at least I think so. I'd love to see it.

Pretty much, he's just too big for anyone to do anything with in this weight class. From a size standpoint it almost seems unfair, matched with his amazing skill it's brutal.

Eh... I don't want to sound like I'm knocking Jones. The guy is talented as hell, but his size gives him the ability to utilize it like he does. If he didn't have a 8-9 inch reach advantage on guys he would be a much different fighters. He's really really talented though.

40-36 for Jones. He's just too big. The guy always looks like a full weight class bigger than everyone he fights.
