  1. I wouldn't say he is struggle with his footwork but working on improving it to the NFL level. So I found this; Ron said couple of weeks ago. Commanders Ron Rivera wants Sam Howell to improve in this key area.
  2. Can I be Marty though? I do feel like I am in my 20's even with these joint pains and all lol
  3. Yes. NO! You are late to the party. @TradeTheBeal! already said that last night lol 👍 i said this yesterday as well.
  4. What I have is lots of management experience (started my own IT business in 2009) and is not scared to make hard decisions. This is why I said back in October of 2021 (it is posted in this thread when the thread was started) to NOT draft a QB in 2022 and to roll with TH and build the lines on both sides. I said this after seeing we were not there yet and needed better players on both sides of the lines. Now if Ron had done that then we wouldn't have Wentz and had money to further build the OL after losing some good OL players. Then I would have still picked up Howell in the 5th round since I really liked him over the others from the not so great QB class and he was still there for the picking. Howell would have been the backup to TH and would have switched to Howell after TH had started to lose steam or to see if Howell is the present and the future and if not then try to get another QB in the '23rd draft or could have even gone with a vet since now the lines would have been better to protect the QB. How is that for a savant?
  5. Which QB have we selected in the 1st round that we have traded instead of trying to see what they can do 3-4 years later?
  6. Scott changed his plan because Taylor has different style of play and limitations too. Taylor didn't make him do anything. If Turner wanted he could have easily gone to Howell so he could still call plays that would stretch the field like he wanted to do so with Wentz. Again, that is on Scott and not on Taylor. Deflection? Where was that? A poster said Wentz has a SB ring, meaning he was the QB who got them the SB ring. I said Foles gets credit for the SB win. No where did I say Wentz didnt do **** up to that point. You can spin it anyway you like. Cool beans coach.
  7. Wait, what? Are you guys now giving credit to Taylor for the wins? I thought it was because of the D and the running game?
  8. Ummm... in real life while holding the clipboard and his knee of course. Let's not take credit away from Nick Foles who made it all happen though.
  9. I thought he was frustrated because the DB went for his ankles instead and going what the **** man. But to each own I guess.
  10. Rodgers had no moxie and pixie dust on that throw. The DB actually caught that ball. lol
  11. The Lions play the Bears and the Packers next. Currently, Detroit sits in the same playoff position as they entered Week 16 in. They are currently a half-game out of a playoff spot. The best scenario for Detroit is to finish the 2022 season by defeating the Bears and the Packers. Both the Commanders and Seahawks each must lose one more game. If that scenario does not occur, the Giants must lose two more games. Unfortunately, the Lions could be facing elimination all together from the postseason following the conclusion of Week 17. GO BEARS!!!
  12. Hey now my son works in the Geek Squad department part-timet. Not everyone is geeky looking.
  13. You really need to let Taylor get out of your system. Probably not healthy to constantly want him off the team lol - at least that is I am no longer focusing on. This year was supposed to be a wash like I have said before the season started. As for moving on from Wentz if he struggles - Ron when he got Wentz was probably thinking more than 1 year. Sure he can drop him if he wants since he has that luxury in the contract. But the bigger question is who will be able to come in and not miss a step in a new offense led by Turner? If not Wentz then If I am Ron I would turn to Howell instead if he truly believes he is ready to go. You really don't need a super duper QB with our style of offense we run anyway. Need a semi-mobile QB that can make plays and yes they have to be accurate on longer throws as well. Who is out there that would fit that bill? The off-season will be either fun or we will all go ughhhh.
  14. Just stick a fork in him. He is done. No way we should even look in his direction! Wentz plays hard and will keep his job. Howell as the backup. TH probably gone uniless Turner still wants to hold on to his binki.
  15. Not a good idea at all. With the game on the line Carr throws a game ending INT. He is so up and down and not clutch at times. Rather just save the money and add to the OL instead. That is a priority. With a better OL Wentz can stand in the pocket longer and can throw down the field with Dotson and Terry streaking towards the end zone. Even if he doesn't catch on fire he is still the better option. Another QB will need to learn the Turner system and that can also hold your team back when we are so close - seems like I say this every year lol but this year after the D turned around and BRob back it is more closer than far. Dotson was balling too and might even be rookie of the year if he gets 2 or 3 more TDs. Keep building around Wentz but Howell has to be the backup at least.
  16. Hmmm... jumping to conclusion much? lol I posted that tweet since he hasn't been really high on the QBR chart (which you guys pointed out like nauseum) and he did so against a #1 D. But, it was actually sad to see that number that didn't translate to a win. Only if. Not sure why Jumbo thought it was funny. Anyway, really didn't care for the Wentz comment though. That is just a fan being a fan of Taylor. So will Carr backup Wentz or Wentz backup Carr?
