    All I'm seeing is an older player who has missed 3 times as many games (17) as TDs scored (5) over the past 2 seasons. Hope it's a very team friendly contract if we bring him in.

    By this chart, Trent has missed 36-40 games over 13 years, and Smith has missed nearly that many in the last 4. Kind of a big difference.

    Martin just posted that Smith has missed an average of 9 games per season over the last 4 years. Why on earth would you spend big money on a guy who might play half the season? The comparison to Trent is way off base. Trent has been far more healthy during his career.

    That's a wild assumption. Picking a QB is a crap shoot at best. Maybe we let them jump ahead of us and they grab the next Malik Willis.

    Can't say I know much about our new Asistant GM Newmark. He was in detroit for 20+ years, through all the lowest lows and their highest highs. How much of their prior failures, or recent successes, fall on him? Hard to say. Overall, I like the staff Quinn has assembled. Seems like a light and day improvement over Rivera's crew.

    Some Yahoo NFL reporter is thinking the FO is leaking dirt on Johnson. I think this is in regards to the Athletic piece detailing our hiring process. I really doubt AP and the new FO would wipe their ass with their own reputation this early by leaking dirt to the media.
