  1. Couldnt schedule your OnlyFans for Saturday ?
  2. Roanoke has some of the nicest natural scenery for a small metro area or larger in Virginia. Almost like a poor man’s California. Not sure I’d want to actually live there. Although for the right opportunity I think I could live just about anywhere
  3. Didn’t seem to affect Bob Kraft… With Trump I think we’re getting to the point where people just don’t give a **** anymore
  4. Youngkin is realizing now the timing is not right. If DeSantis with way more national presence can’t put a dent in the Trump juggernaut then he has no chance. The plan is now.to ride out the governship then gear up for 2028.
  5. In the short term I don’t think this changes much. We call up an AHLer to fill his spot. If his salary is cleared, we could make an FA splash in the off-season. Not sure who is available
  6. If you have HBO max or can get the Bill Maher show he had Perry in it last year I think where talked about those issues
  7. Because at the very least they won’t be primaried. Which became a real danger if they held out indefinitely. I guess they figure it was better to take a chance in the general election and weather any backlash
  8. @GoDeep81 Live version is better. Plus we get the intro from Wolfman Jack Too bad I can’t find the clip for Final Destination 3 …
  9. If you are going for a rebuild, there would be no point in keeping just one. Because by the time you are ready to compete again, there is a decent chance those guys aren't nearly as productive and that cash could have been better spent in free agency. Unless you are going for some type of franchise type HoF player ... Harper, Soto, maybe Turner could have fit that bill... sadly I think those days are gone at least for teams that aren't huge markets like NYC, Boston, LA maybe Chicago.
  10. The Nats did not have a good core, due to the farm system being neglected for years. If they had kept Harper, Soto and Turner, you'd more likely end up with a situation like the Angels where you have a few superstars surrounded by dog doodoo.
  11. Sin oysters are roughly 175 calories, without ****tail sauce, so 48 is 1400 calories. A teaspoon of ****tail on each adds roughly 300. You eat that many in one sitting, you better be a body builder. Or have fasted a good chunk of the day
  12. This is the town that has the Heart Attack Grill https://www.heartattackgrill.com/ If I ever go back to Vegas, I'm definitely going there and not finishng my burger 🙂
  13. I wish Robert Byrd was still alive and serving, so we could have Jordan vs. Byrd
  14. Back when I was in school, there was morning recess (about 10:30) at least until junior high, then recess after lunch. My understanding is they've taken that away to focus more on academics. The lunches issue is a problematic ... healthy stuff which is also appetizing is generally more expensive, and no one wants to increase the school budget because it means increased taxes. And in many cases getting kids to eat healthy may be hard, because they are so used to junk at home. The quality also needs to be there. Back in the 90s I remember the stuff they used to pass off as healthy was like rotten apples and bananas, plums which were pulled out of the freezer 30 minutes before lunch started and still semi-frozen, etc. So he junk food which was frozen/refrigerated and reheated, e.g. pizza, burgers, chicken nuggets, fries, nachos etc. was just worlds more palatable. Then you add the chips, cookies and the sugary drinks, then theres the candy and chocolate from the vending machine ...
  15. Unfortunately there is no surgery to simply remove fat in most cases. There is bariatric surgery to reduce the size of the stomach. This can reduce hunger, but you can still overeat if you are a food addict. Watch some episodes of my 600 pound life. The patients have to lose weight before he can do surgery. They say it’s because it’s too dangerous, but I really think the doctor wants to be sure the patients can stick to a diet before he can justify a surgery In some cases the very overweight people can lose 50 or more pounds in a single month. This makes sense, a larger person is going to be able to lose weight because their TDEE for equal activity level is going to be much higher - in these cases 6000 calories or more. I have been obese since puberty. I was very close to being simply overweight twice , but fell odd the wagon for a few reasons . Hopefully this tracking an approach allows me to change that for good, because there is literally nothing I can’t eat. Only the amounts matter, along adequate protein intake. The bottom line is often tasty foods are generally unhealthy while healthy foods are usually meh. Especially without prep. Diets are hard to stick to, It’s like if you get have the choice between sex with a supermodel/porn star/whatever vs sex with an ordinary person. On top of tap at, we work jobs which are mentally fatiguing but not physically fatiguing. At the end of the day it gets hard to work up the energy to exercise. I think this need to change in early. Childhood obesity is increasing, and obese children generally become obese adults. Michelle Obama tried to fight this battle and lost, The food companies are just very powerful. Schools districts don’t want to spend the time and money to healthy food. Adults are busy and dont pack healthy lunches or make healthy breakfasts or dinners
  16. Liposuction doesn’t really move the needle very much to have any measurable effects. It can only remove a very small amount of subcutaneous fat. Its mostly for models and actresses who are trying to fight genetics and aging. If you’re pressed for time I would try HIT cardio and/or weights. And track your food
  17. You guys complaining about grey crack me up. That can easily fixed with some dying, and doesn't look all that bad for most anyway. Balding on the hand sucks donkey nuts
  18. Condiments, oils and sauces can real pack on the calories. e.g a tablespoon of butter or mayo is 100, As for me, I wouldn't find it hard to dust off 1500 calories in a single meal. In fact most restaurant meals that aren't salads and lean protein/vegetables are probably easily about that (Ironically the good thing about fast food is you look up how much calories that stuff is, most restaurants, no such luck so you have to estimate). So even if I were to have a small breakfast/lunch(lets say 500 calories each), I blow past 2500 quite easily. Then you add in the snacking in between. I find it hard to ditch the snacking so I try to have smaller meals - usually no more than 600, sometimes can go as low as 300 especially for breakfast. Then its maybe a small snack in between. If I don't eat breakfast early I can normally make to lunch. But between lunch and dinner is just way too long to have nothing. Coffee helps! But I have to add a bit of cream ...
  19. Is that just an estimate or do you actually track? Because even if sedentary I'd be surprised if you're not losing weight on 1500 at 180 pounds.
  20. I've lost about 30 pounds over the course of a year - from 270ish to 240ish Doesn't seem like much but I wasn't really that strict, just upping the exercise and trying to eat more healthy (generally more keto-type meals like, salads, etc.) and eating junk sparingly I got one of those fitness trackers (FitBit Versa) because I was a bit curious how my calories burned compared to what the elliptical trainer was telling me The Fitbit was about 75% of the elliptical trainers readout, and about 85% of what I extrapolated from a published study for the same exercise and duration given my weight But what I think what has helped me is it encourages me to track consumption, which I do now pretty much religiously. Sometimes I've had to estimate if the nutrition information isn't available. But I would like to think over a long enough time the errors should balance out. The downside of tracking was that a I started experimenting with certain foods I missed to see if I could eat a measured portion. The answer is basically know unless I say go out a buy a small portion - like say a single donut from Dunkin or a Wendy's single. But keeping anything like that in my house is a bad idea. I think the Fitbit is overestimating my TDEE. Its claiming from a bit over 3k for a "rest" day to nearly 5k for a very active day, with an average of 4k. My average calorie consumption has been around 2900 over the past few weeks, and it claims I should have lost about 8 pounds when its really more like 2-3. In reality I think I'm averaging a burn of maybe 3200. I would like to lose 2 pounds a week so I'm trying to lower average calorie consumption to 2200. I would actually have some really lean days under 2000 but they have these blowout days where it was like 4500.
  21. Yeah I guess the dumbass was Ted for allowing it to happen. Normally an owner should be hands off on hockey decisions, but a potential lame duck manager is an exception, because they only care about keeping their job. Ted should have had someone in the FO/scouting staff to keep tabs for a second opinion who didn't have to worry about being shown the door when McPhee was canned
  22. Or imagine if we had simply kept Forsberg and not traded him for Martin ****ing Erat ... what a dumbass McPhee was I wasn't paying attention to all the draft picks/players we traded over the years in order to try to win a Cup .. did any of them actually contribute significantly to the 2018 team? Edit: Oshie and Eller were acquired via trades ... honestly I was a bit tuned out at that time
  23. Unfortunately I don't think the team is willing to commit to a rebuild as long as #8 is on the roster If we could have started the rebuild 3 years ago when it was apparent that 2018 was the last gasp for that core, there would be a shot for another Cup run before Ovechkin retires, sadly this becoming all but impossible unless he can play until he's 43.
  24. I guess its a good thing I couldn't watch this one and didn't feel like shelling out for an in-person view
