He's not all that. He really isnt. Marginal upgrade over a LB that was marginal. At best.

It's Howell getting crushed in game 5, Brissett in game 9 and finishing the season with Fromm. Yup.

I guess what I find so ironic, is that with so many high draft choices throw at the defense, we completely suck at LB. And our HC and DC were linebackers. (#*% it. I'm done trying to figure out WTF they are thinking.

This is poor. Leno is average, at best. Wylie is a G playing T, and gave up 9 sacks last year. Roullier is good, if healthy. He has not been healthy. Gates is ok, but is coming off injuries and who knows what Cosmi is at Guard. And everyone is on the small side. Barely average. and Tackles are below average.

Take a look at the OL, and tell me we did enough. Look at our Tackles. Look at Guard. Tell me this looks like a OL that can compete in this division. Tell me that Howell is not going to get killed back there. Tell me we'll have holes for Robinson and Gibson to run through.

If our D is top 5, we won't be bad enough. We'd pick the 5th ranked CB anyway.

Does anyone look at what we have at OL, and then look at what the teams in our division have on their DL, and not panic? I think we light, and low on talent. Offensively, we have been bad, and it all starts up front. I guess we'll be ok defensively, and be 30th in points, and wonder why we missed the playoffs again, and finished last in the division......again.

Well. It's a good thing we had a top 5 offense, with a excellent OL for our 2nd year QB, right?

After sleeping on it, I'm not mad with our pick. I don't like him @ 16 though, and I was honestly still getting over Wright going at 10. If he can get to 180 or a little more and not loose anything, I'll be fine with the pick. Wasn't my top CB, but I do see why they went after him. There wasn't a OL worth it, and no trades.

I'm not sure there are many OT's that are going to be worth it now. A couple in R2, but after that, it's not good. And we honestly have a glut at G right now. Wylie is a natural G, even if he is slated to play OT for us. OL to me is still an issue.

I just hope he doesn't get folded like a lawn chair by a OT. I'm worried that he's going to be able to stay on the field. I hope he bulks up.

I honestly can't believe how bad that pick is. I'm stunned.

I'd rather have Hooker than either Richardson or Levis. But I don't want any of them in the 1st.

I'd take Darnell Wright @ 16 in a heartbeat. I'd prefer to trade back and still get him, but he's the guy I want. And yes, I'm likely biased because he's a Vol, but I think he's also going to be really good.

I'm still in shock, part of me is, at least. I never thought we'd have another owner than Dan. I remember with Bruce was fired, I didn't care, because Dan was the issue, Bruce was a symptom. I was pretty much done. Watched a couple games, mostly because of Heinekie really. but I was basically done. Came by here a couple times in the last couple of years, but that was it. Now? The impossible has happened. Not only that, but after looking at this group, I"m actually really impressed. I was never a fan of the Bezos possibility. Does he have a truckload of cash? Sure. Would he be a soul-sucking person that would do nothing to actually help the franchise? My guess is yes. Amazon is exactly that to it's employees, and I'd expect nothing less as an owner. Which to me more than cancels out the fact that he has more money than anyone else. I feel like I have not in almost 25 years. That there is real hope for this franchise. Finally.

That was kinda my point, actually. Dan's been pretty cheap on that end. Remember how bad the locker room, the weight room, the practice fields, almost everything was/is? Not to mention Fed Ex Field? I think new ownership fixes all this issues. Issues Dan wouldn't.
