  1. I have a question for you guys. Is there any place to view the locations of the next few UFC events? One of my friends and I have been talking about going to one and the UFC does not really have future locations on their site past early June events. Makes it a little hard to plan. I would think the locations are mapped out further in advance than that, but maybe I am wrong.
  2. The sad thing is Birchill is a really good wrestler. Too bad we will never know that because Vinny keeps sticking him with stupid gimmicks.
  3. And I was annoyed that I forgot to watch TNA. Maybe I shouldn't be...
  4. This was the first thing I thought of...which fights are not going to make it to the air. Because I would really like to see all of them.
  5. I have always liked Kurt and I really want to like TNA, but they frustrate me in the way they misuse their talent sometimes. Kurt could be a hell of an asset to TNA if they work it right. I never watch WWE anymore because it has gotten really stale to me, but I watch TNA every once in a while. I used to watch it all of the time, back to the weekly Nashville PPV's, but I do not watch it nearly as much as I used to.
  6. Spot on. I like Chambers, but his lack of killer instinct drives me crazy. Povetkin did waht he needed to do to win, and I was very impressed with his stamina, but he did not really impress me either. But in a weak HW division, who knows?
  7. Kurt had plenty of personal issues at the time and the work schedule of WWE is brutal. It does not really lend itself for wrestlers to have much personal time. Which is why a lot of them end up having issues in their personal lives IMHO. Many people, including myself thought Kurt would be away from the business for a while to sort things out. But he started in TNA fairly quickly after his contract ended with WWE. Their work schedule is much, much lighter and allows their wrestlers more time to themselves. In WWE, he might have been working 20-25 nights a month, but TNA is as little as a quarter of that. I am sure there are more parts to the story, but this was at least a part of it.
  8. ? He left? I am a big TNA fan, but I have not been able to watch in a while. I have always been a fan of Senshi/Low Ki. That sucks, but they certainly have not used him well in his second go-around.
  9. So true. The matches are light years better, but the writing does suck at times. I watch more for the matches than the storylines, but it will be hard to bring more casual fans in without better writing. It has gotten better though.
  10. Wow...Frank Mir? I did not expect that. That is quite a risk...
  11. Has anyone else grown tired of Stone Cold? I turn on Raw for the first time in months, and I get to see a 10 minute long commercial for a bad movie and Budweiser. It ain't 1998 anymore, it has gotten a little old...to me at least.
  12. Ahh yes. TK, you just went up a few notches in my book. Those were some great matches. I think my favorite was a best of three falls match at Clash of the Champions in 1989. Great stuff indeed. And, as an extra added bonus:
  13. She is, in fact, delicious. And like Comrade said earlier, I do not think she got implants, sometimes they look big, sometimes decent depending on what she is wearing.

  15. Yep, that is the same thing I did. That Stout-Fisher fight is one of my favorites.

  17. That was a terrible show. I had no intention of watching it tonight, but I stopped for a few minutes. And that was about all I could take. I have not watched a whole lot of their content, because it just strikes me as terribly unprofessional in some aspects. Such as on-air talent and production. I have seen a few pretty good fights in the few times I have watched them, but nothing that makes me clamor for more. I would much rather watch WEC, IFL and obviously UFC before I switch to EliteXC.

  19. Can anyone else not stand the EliteXC commentators? I like Bernstein for boxing, not so much for MMA. And I really can not stand listening to Stephen Quadros. Oh well, at least Bill Goldberg is not on tonight. I do not really like EliteXC, but I will watch it just because I like MMA. But their broadcasters cause me to turn it off every once in a while.

  21. Is it bad that I don't want Jericho to come back? I mean, I like Chris and was a Jerichoholic back in the day, but the WWE is a mess right now, and he went out on a pretty good note. Especially if they put him on Smackdown, as J.R. apparently speculated in his blog. SD is awful, and I don't think Jericho could "save" it. I was holding out a glimmer of hope that Jericho could end up in TNA somehow, although I knew that was not very likely.
  22. Me too. I can't stand WWE for the most part, and very, very rarely watch it. But I watch TNA as much as I can. I think it is a better wrestling (not sports entertainment) product.
  23. No thanks. I liked Booker a lot about a decade ago, but I am a big TNA fan and he has not entertained me in a long time. Then again, guys like Diamond Dallas Page did not really get me fired up, but TNA saw it fit to sign him for a little while. Nothing they do really surprises me.
