  1. Might not be a fair question, but it's a massive thread hijack.
  2. For the record: I have met RR88. At a bar downtown (Mulligans?) several years ago, we had a couple beers and watched a preseason game with a few other forum folk...maybe 2008/09 or so. He was a friendly and engaging young man and a huge Redskins fan. I enjoyed meeting him. But such is the power of propaganda...an otherwise perfectly reasonable person feels compelled to regurgitate blatant fallacies regarding the "kindness of slave-owners" and the dignity of the Confederacy. Dead bodies and broken bones all over downtown CVille and not a peep from him. One guy gets 4 stitches and he's rolling in here to whitewash the whole civil war for us. Its absolutely ****ing mind-boggling.
  3. Nobody cares who you date, bro. Get a grip on yourself and quit spouting crap like "Lee was nice to his slaves". You sound absolutely ridiculous. Your friends deserve better. I'm sure they've been hoping that the light goes on for you for some time now. Maybe this reality check today will help. Youre welcome.
  4. There is nobody on this forum that knows less about history than you. You are a collection of pro-slavery/pro-racism talking points and nothing more. A drone. A dirt farmer in a trench in Gettysburg waiting on a cannonball.
  5. 10000 people marched last night and 1 guy (a photojournalist) ended up with 4 stitches...Any and every Redskins home game has that and more X20. We will find the guy that did it and prosecute him to the fullest extent of the law. As far as Lee goes...understand this. The Civil War was basically the wealthy 1% plantation owners rounding up all the poor white folks and conscripting them under penalty of death (the mildly wealthy could buy their way out) to go and eat lead in the trenches of Gettysburg. Because the plantation owners didn't care to pay wages to their workforce. And they knew that slavery wouldnt last much longer...they sent 300,000 of their own best and brightest to the grave and tore the country apart just so they could get their money right and flee to Brazil. And then they assassinated Lincoln on the way out. The Confederacy is the most evil, destructive and murderous organization that has ever existed on American soil. Lee was a huge part of that and bears deep responsibility for the deaths of over 500,000 men. He was a traitor by any and every definition of the word. And you can take Thomas Jefferson's name out your mouth any time, traitor.
  6. The lesson of Charlottesville: Petitions, special commissions, city council votes, floating a compromised solution whereby the statue remaIns but with a more historically accurate inscription, etc. led to the largest Nazi rally in 50 years and the attempted murder of dozens of peaceful demonstrators. Not at all surprised that our downtown citizens are adopting a more forceful, proactive approach in the wake of that tragedy. Thats wonderful.
  7. White Nationalism is a far greater threat to the USA than ISIS. The historical evidence is incontrovertible.
  8. Strong take, Rob. Let's just ignore them. That'll teach em!
  9. "Holocaust" is perfectly synonymous with Hitler's rise to power and the "master race" rhetoric that fueled it.
  10. If you google the name Joel vangheluwe, you can check the alt-right trying to spin it as a false flag/lefty attack.
  11. The moment he does will be the end of his political relevance. That's his base.
  12. Poor Charlottesville....such a great town and I've had so many good times there. This all makes me very sad.
  13. Will TrumpKlan be able eliminate the NK threat while simultaneously waging the glorious Second American Civil War For Enduring Freedom? Aren't they afraid they might be spreading themselves a bit too thin?
  14. Skins won Super Bowl XVII when I was 12 years old. The best of times...
