I bet Liverpool wins next week. Its at home. First match since the report on Hillsborough report came out, its United. Liverpool are a cup team now and they usually get up for cup/big matches so I think they should win it.

and all i know, as well as everyone who watched this fight, is that Chavez got his butt handed to him for 11 rounds. Even when he knocked down Martinez, Martinez got up and fired back at Chavez. Chavez slow self couldnt close the deal for a reason. He aint good enough.

Chavez couldnt let his hands go because he had no target. Martinez was constantly moving and Chavez doesnt have the hand or foot speed to negate that. And the only reason why Chavez caught Martinez in the last round was down to Martinez trying to KO Chavez and leaving himself open, which he wasnt doing most of the fight. Watch a Chavez fight when he was fighting these bums. Chavez would throw the guys into the ropes or corner and wail at their body. Guys that did not have fast hands and were sitting targets. Martinez is the exact opposite of that and he exposed Chavez badly, to the point it was embarrassing to see. If the two were to fight again, it would be 12 rounds of that again and Martinez would not give Chavez the chance to KO him. The outcome would be exactly the same. thats teh other thing. for all the stuff about Chavez's chin, Chavez came into that fight weight between 175-180, imo. It was probably more considering dude's past. Of course he isnt going to get rocked, he has a huge weight advantage. I give Chavez credit for not quitting, but thats because I had low expectations for the guy anyway. That rich kid needs to move up to Super middleweight or light heavyweight if he wants me to respect him.

man, they need to calm down on that rematch talk. This fight was a comprehensive beat down minus the last round. Unless Martinez loses his legs the next fight will be the exact same way except Sergio will be smarter that last round and not trade (which he had been doing most of the night)

United dont have the cash to buy Cronaldo, no matter what those tabloids say, lol. And I believe Rooney will be sold next summer too. Its not that he is bigger than the club, but that he is on the brink of a big decline. He doesnt take care of himself and hasnt been that good of a player since that ankle injury in 2010 (i know he scores goals, but when you think of Rooney, you think of his team effort). United cant afford to keep both RVP and Rooney. Ward wont move to LHW yet. Makes no sense, no money there. Thats why Chad was so eager to call out Ward and drop in weight. Ward is my #2 p4p fighter now. IM not sure what style beats him. He had no respect for Chad's power. Chad did look physically weak, but then he checked out once he realized he wasnt hurting Ward. Matthysse is a beast too. Ajose showed a lot of heart taking all those shots from Matthysse and not getting knocked down until late. Matthysse is a beast, and probably the best at 140 in the world right now.

Henderson is too timid. If Jack can come back its him, Chamberlain (when he moves central), Josh McEachran potentially (he is frail but he is so good on the ball), maybe Rodwell and Cleverly as well.

he was. Its an ongoing discussion me and him have over Gerrard. I disagree about his qualities as a central midfielder (ie, I dont think he can play it at the top level. But he was a great footballer and was great out wide or as a support striker) because of all the deficiencies he has. Gibbs Hog Heaven being the Liverpool fan he is believes that Gerrard has been a world class central midfielder. I saw the score and was like wow. That was a really bad result for Uruguay, but South America qualifiers are always dope like that.
