Awesome story MTH. Its amazing how far this site has come. I'd say its the best message board I've used. As much as people give the mods a hard-time, they really do a great job here. I can't wait to see what they have in store for the next 10 years!

Who predicted Hogan going to WCW or him going back to the WWE in 2002? It was a far fetched thought but he went. The Rock is not an A list movie star.And all actors take gigs that take them different places for the $$. If TNA makes him an offer he cant refuse he'll definitely go.

The Rock's new movie is about being a tooth fairy. I'm sure if the money's right he'd go back to wrestling.

I'm bumping this to ask if anyone "in the know" has any indication as to whether the new FO might go for a different look beginning in 2010? Are there any rumblings that we might revamp or go back in time with the uniforms to completely turn over a new leaf?

I don't see us making any uniform changes anytime soon. It would be nice to update some things though. We've basically had the same uniform for the last 30 years.

As for portis, while i do think if it's an uncapped year he does need to go, i think it's because we need a youth movement. Portis is near the end of the line for rbs, and i think his ineffectiveness is more due to the wear and tear he got by being overused as the rock of the franchise for the last 5 years. That dude has put it all on the line for mediocre skins teams year in and year out, and i think it's extremely unfair to bash a guy who has given his all for this team. He deserves better.

Do you guys get Magic Hat down there? It's from Vermont I believe and getting pretty popular here. It's fantastic.

The No 9 and now the Winter Brew is killing it. I didn't like the summer beer, Wacko though.

Also, the folks who make Victory beers are just sick people. Everything they make is high in alcohol. They have even told me they are sick people. OLS

They have it on tap at a bunch of bars down here. I've had it a few times, not too bad.

do they stop selling octoberfest as soon as november rolls around?

I think they just sell whatever they have left, probably don't get any more shipments in.

Edit: On their website it says its available from late August until November. Winter Lager is available from November to January.

Still waiting on the Winter Lager to hit shelves. From now I'll only trust the Boston Lager.

Winter Lager is out at the Liquor Store I go to. That actually had a Holiday 12 Pack. It has Winter Lager, Holiday Porter, Boston Lager, Old Fezziwig, Cranberry Lambic (which was horrible!), and I can't remember the last one. But it wasn't bad. The Cranberry Lambic was awful though. Too much cranberry for me.

And forgot another sad stat of the year: We scored 7 TDs in 6 games, the Pats scored 5 TDs in ONE QUARTER and 8 in ONE GAME!!

Our sad stats of the year:

Our offense has accounted for 7 TDs through 6 games, Drew Brees and Tom Brady have had 6 TDs in a GAME!

Jason Campbell has 6 TDs through 6 games, Brady and Brees have done that in a GAME!

We are the only team that has yet to score 20 points in a game and we have yet to score more than 2 TDs in a game

We've had 2 games where we haven't scored a TD

Our offense is horrible...

So will this mean the end of Cena/Orton?? I'm tired of seeing them wrestle for the title every PPV.

Whenever I play as the Skins in Madden, I always wear the yellow pants. They just look so much better. We need to bring those back!

Most teams don't play starters for more than a few series in the fourth game. Everyone knew we weren't playing starters tonight 5 years ago.

Not sure how that would have an impact on the players. Do they care that some fans are being sued or that tickets are being sold to "brokers" instead of fans? I seriously doubt it. As long as they get paid, they probably could care less who is in the stands. Maybe more people were betting on the Jags so they raised the spread?

Maybe it has something to do with Portis, Rogers, Haynesworth, and Fletcher not playing?

Only if we can get Randy and then we'd have all the Moss WRs on one team! Then it would be ok if all Campbell threw to was Moss!

I just called into ESPN radio to talk to Ryan Roscillo or however you spell his name lol. He was talking about teams that could be contenders. I tried to convince him the Skins could be and he wasn't buying it. Said our offense isn't efficient enough. He likes our D, but doesn't trust the O.
