  1. Please cite and reference the above because I have no idea what you're talking about? I never mentioned any nonsense about shorter, white players? I did say that Bill Russell was taller than just about everyone else back then and was supposed to dominate against inferior competition. If you're making this about race, then that is all you.
  2. I'm not disagreeing with you very much. I hear what you're saying. You can leave the talk about MJ on the bullets at home, though. It's not like he never failed...plus, he missed a bunch of game winners in his career. But it would be like saying Jack Nicklaus isn't a slam dunk as the best golfer of all time because he has the most 2nd place finishes in majors, ever. With that being said, if there's a big game, I want him leading my squad. If there's a last shot and a chance to win the game, I want the ball in his hands, more than likely taking that shot.
  3. Exactly. Let's also add in Sam Jones (10 rings) and John Havlicek (8 rings) to the discussion of GOAT since obviously greatness is based on rings. Oh, and how could I forget the great SATCH SANDERS and his 8 rings.
  4. You missed the Bill Russell discussion. Get out of here with that nonsense.
  5. The best part about signing Reed this off-season is that we potentially have him at a major discount. If he puts up similar numbers this coming season, but would be a free agent, that guy would be breaking the bank. He's a legit stud at TE.
  6. I'm going to a pig roast on Saturday! Everyone please be jealous.
  7. Well, by saying Jordan was the best winner, I'm saying that no matter how big the game or moment is, he's going to win. He'll put the team on his shoulders and get the job done. Now with that being said... Bill Russell is the product of 99% of the league being terrible and much shorter than him in his playing days. He was that much better than everyone and was ahead of his time. Take for example the '63-64 Celtics. Russell is one of 3 guys on the team taller than 6'5". He was supposed to dominate. He shot 43% from the floor, 55% at the free throw line and 15 points per game that season. Get out of here with that nonsense that Bill Russell is better in any possible way than Jordan. Dude averaged 15 ppg in his lifetime, 44% shooter, and made a little more than half his FT's. Yeah I said it. Jordan > Bill Russell
  8. This is a legit question. Also, there was no greater winner than Jordan. He might not have the same skill set as someone who is as freakishly athletic as Lebron, but that dude could will his team to win no matter the circumstances. If there's a game that is a must win and I could choose anybody to lead that team, it's Jordan, hands down. That's no slight to anybody else because let's face it, we're talking about the best of the best here. Jordan > Lebron
  9. I still feel like Ernie is going to make a big trade at some point. We'll probably all hate it.
  10. "Oh, by the way..." I think Sheehan and Cooley say this phrase 97 times a show, each, minimum.

  12. Cooley has gotten worse since switching to the AM slot. Anytime I listen, he's saying off the wall stuff that is just nonsense, in a super goofy way like you know he's dicking around. It seemed much easier for Galdi or Czabe to reel him in. But Cooley with Sheehan is just not for me, I guess.
  13. He's a gym rat who gets the most out of his athletic abilities and plays the game the right way.
  14. Gil has no filter and no chill. I did laugh at some of the stuff, but overall he's a gigantic bag of douche.
  15. You better watch yo mouf, son son! But if you take our pace from the last 25 years, all of us would take 2 championships in those 200k years. Don't worry, the Eagles will still have zero. Forever.
  16. I think 4 for $64MM is like a role player salary these days.
  17. Man, I hope I live long enough to see the year 204016. We better have at least 2 Super Bowl victories by then.
  18. Tongue in cheek, my friend. I'm so thankful he's gone though. Dude could be at 90% and wouldn't play because he's not 100%.
  19. Oh I agree about the Wiz. Just making light of our good buddy Ernie. No reason we can't win 45 games if we're healthy. It's just that there's only so far this roster will take you, that's all. At least we won't have 12 free agents after this season.
  20. Ernie is putting together a very fine 35 win roster here. lol I don't get why all of these morons sign with Western Conference teams. It's sooooooooooo much easier to make it deeper in the East than in the West. I get Cleveland won the title, but they are not unbeatable. Let's not pretend they won 70+ games last year. Even our squad went 2-2 against them. LBJ sat out one of those games, which we lost.
  21. Since Durant is now going to be pretty much universally hated, what better way to rehab that image than to come "home" to DC? I kid, I kid. Kinda. Anyway, I'd have liked him going to Boston, but F him for going to GS. That's the easy way out. And F Ernie too, while we're at it. Just because, Ernie.
