Oh god the bloop hits.

Ready to rock today. Section 203. I didn't go to a game at all last year because life (I'm usually able to go to 5 or 6 a year). I really like the roster. I second the 93 wins and take back the East.

Trailers are released very early now while the films have not even finished editing or begun standard reshoots. Scenes, if not the entire movie itself, can be drastically altered within weeks. Van Damme's Cyborg, Star Wars' Rogue One,vand Alien 3 are examples. Case in point - the Avengers: Age of Ultron trailers. The scene of Quicksilver running inside the train car went through changes in each trailer. In one, it's daytime outside the passenger window. In another trailer, it is night. In another it appears to be in a tunnel.

I was wondering about the change too. I think it was to add more Top Gun. As for Star Wars, I'm pretty sure Spider-Man referenced Empire Strikes Back.

Just finished seeing it. It was like a direct mix of the first Thor and Rogue One. It throws you in the deep end and then sorts itself out. The second half/third act is strong and satisfying, thus my Rogue One comparison. There's a fight scene near the end that was very enjoyable with flashes of an Edgar Wright-esque style. Brie is a talented actress but to caution, in this role she comes off as very serious and not the most emotive in some scenes - which is honestly the way most test pilots are from my experience in the DOD. Danvers and Steve Rogers will get along well, lol. However, I think Brie (as Carol) shines in the quicker and sarcastic exchanges in the third act...those seem to be a good mix and right in the character's wheelhouse. Those moments remind me of the Russos deft handling of the reinvented Thor. I'm around 8/10, as flashback movies are tough to get right. A 7/10 seems too low.

Going to see it 1 pm. Also, my theater is showing Captain America: The Winter Soldier in 3D all weekend too. It wasn't advertised at all. I saw showtimes when I was getting tickets for CM. Is anyone else's theater doing this? As much as I love the movie, it seems odd and poor timing to create potential confusion for the ticket-buying public. There are lots of people that don't know comics or the MCU.

Ugh, I thought I scrubbed those memories out with Comet...nope, still there. Imo, Rizzo's bane has been the closer spot. The only thing he has repeatedly struggled with and arguably failed at. And Treinen killing it last season didn't help (Blake needed that change of scenery to do that though).

Seeing that Phillies uni is gross. Something about that font used for "phillies" unsettles me...it looks like the unholy aftermath of eating Taco Bell when everything comes out like soft-serve ice cream.

Honestly, I'm just glad it's over. For the Nats and their clubhouse, Harper leaving could be argued as addition by subtraction.

Hulu Live. $44.99 a month. It has NBC Sports Washington, all local pro teams with no blackouts. It says it suppossed to cover all Nats games but I won't know until the season starts.

Starting next season Ernie will have $90 million tied up in only three players (Wall, Beal, Porter). That is insane. No room to sign significant free agents and he craps all over draft picks and rookies. What is Ernie's ideal roster? All vets and castoffs?

Very true. Their peak was scratching out three wins to get to a whopping 11-14...now 2-9 since.

This is about to be a rough stretch. If they are struggling this bad against the Bulls...the next 8 games might be 0-8.

It's being reported that Mem and Phx had been discussing Dillon Brooks for the last week, even going as far as Phx requesting his medical records. Guys, I'm sad to say this might not have been Ernie's fault. It's looking like Memphis got cold feet.

Apparently Memphis and Phoenix did not communicate directly, they were using the middle man/team (Ernie). ...so Ernie messed up his own trade.
