  1. I guess I don't buy into the idea that players get that one good game out of the way...especially for players who have played well for years. With Watson, if he played well now I would expect him to keep playing well.
  2. So now posting Kirk's stats is "hating"...you should see how much TK "hates" damn near every player on the team in the game day threads, then lol...
  3. I'm thinking more of the Eagles at the end of the 2020 season and the Giants at the end of the 2021 season lol...mediocre-to-bad teams that care less about notching another win than ending an abysmal season and going on a mental vacation. Unfortunately I don't think the Browns have a 1st round pick to worry about next season.
  4. - Why would anyone wait to post a bad take after the game ends? lol... - How is my post a bad take?
  5. Rooting for the Browns to lose huge today and next week (and of course the week after that lol)...let the players and coaches just want to get the season over with by the time we play them.
  6. I stopped watching and walked away when it was 33-0...just came back to it during the spot review. Good goobly woogly lol..
  7. Every team whose bye was before Nov. 20 will be playing their 5th game in 4 weeks, though...it's not a big deal.
  8. I think there are positives to both. Rematches breed rivalries (or intensify those that already exist). Fresh matchups invigorate the league a bit more.
  9. No doubt. The interesting thing is, for the most part over the last 8 games the teams on that list only lost to each other.
  10. I guess I had to write it out to have it hit me...best records over the last 8 games: Eagles 7-1 49ers 7-1 Bengals 7-1 Commanders 6-1-1 Chiefs 6-2 Cowboys 6-2 Vikings 6-2 Bills 6-2 That's some quality company to keep, I don't care who we've played.
  11. That's more wishful thinking than realistic analysis, though. If the team goes 7-9-1 it's not gonna have anymore of an effect on Snyder selling than if it goes 10-6-1. If anything, I could see him wanting to go out on a high note (relatively speaking)...selling the team after making the playoffs with a pretty decent roster would allow him to say "I left the team in good shape" and take some credit for whatever success may come under the next owner. Selling the team after going 2-15 pretty much solidifies him as the worst owner, a label he's been trying to fight off.
  12. Why does everyone continue to think losing = Snyder selling? Nothing about the win/loss column is going to drive that.
