  1. If Penix can stay upright for four straight hours, definitely call a doctor.
  2. If he's been coaching the last five weeks, he should have stuck to managing...
  3. I assumed that was a reference to his ability...
  4. Bowers & McConkey were the two best pieces of Georgia's Offense, but is this a projection based on either Howell or Rattler starting... ?
  5. Stop with the trade talk. Get a good GM to come in here and draft talent, get talent in FA and have a staff that'll make it all work as well as possible.
  6. He could be a potential top-5 to later part of the top-10's guy. Doesn't change the Commanderskins' needs, but shakes up the draft board a bit.
  7. Brock Bowers has declared, which could shake up stuff.
  8. Brock Bowers has now declared. This changes things.
  9. I don't think anyone wants Mayhew to have a sniff of anything in this draft.
  10. Drake Maye 2nd? No. Marvin Harrison Jr falling to 4? No. Ladd McConkey just declared, which can potentially change some stuffs.
  11. Well... Sweat, anyway. Young shows up on the stat sheets about as often as he did here, if not less. Sweat was the one no one wanted to lose, but the deal was too good to pass.
  12. Schott did take go 4-12, 12-4 & 14-2 in his first three years with the Chargers, post-Snyder. He was fired after that 14-2 season, IIRC. Rivera doesn't have even a whiff of that success with this team. He may be respected around the league, but he doesn't have results. Can't blame Snyder, either. Snyder was the only one who gave him a call post-Carolina and his on-field record has only been tainted ever since.
  13. Didn't Bowers say he was returning to Georgia next year?
  14. There will come a point of diminishing returns, though. The roster, as a whole, is definitely in much worse shape than when Rivera got here. There comes a point that trading guys like Allen and Payne not only means absorbing cap hits from trading two guys relatively early in their contracts, but now you have to replace them and have less money with which to do so... not to mention all the other holes in the roster.
  15. Is there really a need to trade any more? The team has a ton of draft picks for 2024 and an embarrassment of cap space.
  16. I think we're beyond whatever Howell's ceiling is at this point, perceived or actual. He's beat up and may have to take a season or so to recover from this.
  17. Have fun. The discussion will turn in circles to "I always said the O-Line was just as much to blame as Sam." Never mind that the Annandale Boys Club Raiders probably have a better O-Line.
  18. We all knew before the season that this was basically the starting O-Line from Our Lady of the Worthless Miracle High School, but hoped they'd come together somehow. They never did.
