  1. I think knowing that he no longer has the support of the NFL is starting to sink in. The last 24 hours only happens with the approval of other owners. As @tshilesaid above, NFL partners only do this with the approval of the NFL. Before he was just hated by the fans now he knows he’s hated by the other owners. That’s got to be completely different.
  2. That picture makes me so happy. The complete look of being uncomfortable and in disarray. I don’t care how rich that man is, knowing that everyone wants you to leave has to be so destabilizing.
  3. I did not know that about the relationship with Allen. I live in MD and no politician here is signing up for that, at least no sane one. It still never hurts to reinforce that with your state rep. I may do that, we had a group of 20 guys We had 16 season tickets between us some club, some upper and lower level, we are down to 2 tickets in the end zone. Dan gets kicked I may be back, I know at least one other guy would be back. I would definitely attend the parade.
  4. Agreed. What happened yesterday only happens if the vast majority of owners approves it. That was a clear shot across the bow to the Snyders, not just Dan, the family. I would like to add that even with all that being said, if he gets a stadium he likely going to get the all clear to stay. The league is about money, and right now he’s costing them more than is acceptable. If you live in MD or VA contact your state rep and tell them that any approval of giving them public money is unacceptable under any conditions.
  5. I think that’s my biggest takeaway from the last 24 hours. The NFL has given the all clear for its partners to go after an owner. That cannot be overstated in how big a deal that is. They have reached the point where the break even analysis is pointing in the removal of Dan instead of covering for him. I have real hope for the first time.
  6. True, and that’s part of why I don’t feel bad for the folks who take executive positions here. There is enough history to understand what the outcome is going to be. Bad organizational leadership typically leads to bad results. Is what it is and nothing changes until the leadership changes.
  7. I get that and no one signs up for that. I’m likely being unfair to Ron is some aspects that are not football related. I just don’t feel bad for anyone in an executive role that takes a job in an organization run but a really bad leader, especially when it’s well know that the leader is the worst. I guess that what I’m stuck on. The level of off the field stuff is absolutely ridiculous and unexpected. Ron is by all accounts a good dude but man he has done himself no favors here. I’m just tired of being apathetic to the wins and losses. I very much want a reason to get excited again, and that starts with Dan being removed.
  8. He took a job to run the football side from arguably the worst owner in the league. He had to see the way both Gruden and the Shannys spoke about the franchise. The only constant is the owner and sure he may have thought he was the guy to turn it around, but man the history is there as a reference point. I feel nothing for him, the players yeah. Ron signed up to be the lead man for Dan and that’s all him.
  9. I’m apathetic to the wins and losses. I watch because it’s what I did / do with my dad and brother. I’m 40 and I remember the good times, barely. But, one thing I know is that I’m going to outlast Snyder. This guy destroyed my favorite team, and I’ll be damned if he outlasts me.
  10. Ron is the end all be all of football on this team. He oversees player acquisition and team performance. Nothing is off limits to ask, ownership can directly impact player acquisition and flow down to team performance. If he’s unhappy with the questions he should have done a better job assembling his team. He should have managed his cap distribution better and how his composition of players mesh. He wants to talk about analytics and Wentz. The analytic community killed him all off-season, they didn’t restructure to save money for player acquisition this year. That’s all him, and he should answer those questions. He also 100% should be able to answer questions relating to ownership issues. He signed up for this ride and it was not a secret who he’s working for. If he’s not prepared for that he didn’t do his due diligence on the market he was walking into. This franchise has been a train wreck for 2 decades, it shouldn’t be a surprise that people want to ask about the latest fire, especially to the guy who signed up to speak to the media on a regular basis. Cry me river, and be better across the board. Then you may be able to avoid some questions, instead they’ve gotten worse while other teams have gotten better. Stand up and earn that check you took from the devil, because that’s all on you for signing up to be apart of this **** show.
  11. Whatever it is, this is one of those meaningless wins in a crap season that ends up costing the team in the long run. Can’t tell players not to play, but this is just a meaningless win in an already lost season.
  12. I can’t wait to finish 4-13 and be picking 4th and taking a CB after the best QBs are gone.
  13. Bad football all around, they are going to sneak a win out and Ron’s going to crow about it.
  14. I’m familiar, it’s just incredible that into the 4th quarter less than 100 yards.
  15. I once was told to quiet down by an usher when I tried to get a Snyder sucks chant going.
  16. This game is a train wreck. I want to stop but I need to see what happens next.
