    The bottom line, is that you do not have the "right" to not be offended in this country. Something offends everybody. I'm offended by the term "Fighting Irish," which in my mind paints all irish as drunk leprechauns getting into bar fights. I DEMAND they change their name!

      As I said in the BIG THREAD on the name change in the Tailgate Section, unless and until an Indian Tribe steps up and is willing to say, "We not only don't dislike the team's nickname -- we think it's pretty cool," we're gonna have to go through this stupid little melodrama on an ongoing basis. Unfortunately.
