That's a pessimistic view but to each his own. We have Kingsbury now so we need to see what he can do....Murray hasn't been all bad in Arizona. I'm not a big Kingsbury fan but whoever this draft analyst was on the Sheehan show today was said the combo of Daniels/Kingsbury is gonna be insane. I'll go with that. Hail.

Kingsbury runs a spread offense according to the "expert" Sheehan had on today and he said that Daniels is gonna have lots of opps to breake a defenses heart by running. He basically said they're a match made in Heaven and that Kingsbury is gonna have tons of fun having a guy like Daniels to work around.

We're not, those are your words, not mine, and Ben got beaten up throughout his career, go check out his injury chart, it's online. You missed my point which is that these thinner quicker guys have been that way their whole lives and have their own ways of surviving. OBTW, Randall Cunningham was a dynamic QB who led the highest scoring team in NFL history at one point (Minnesota, 1998). We'd be totally blessed to get a QB like him in this draft.

Daniels is Randall Cunningham, Maye is Ben Roethlisberger for arguments sake.....compare their career injuries. Ben got beaten up as any QB ever, possibly because of his size and immobility. Guys like Daniels are athletes and athletes adjust, especially with good coaching. Just saying that bigger doesn't necessarily mean healthier in the NFL.

Damn right. And Peters is supposed to be a GM who does his best work in the later rounds!!!!! We may pull 8 starters out of this draft alone.....

It's simple really, if we know that NE is out on McCarthy and we want him, why not try to see if we can bait them into moving up one spot by bluffing that we want Daniels or Maye? It's just maximizing more out of having the #2 pick. I understand what you're saying, don't fool around and possibly lose who we want but that's what Peters would have to be sure would not happen. If you absolutely know that you're taking someone who NE will not then why not try an entice them into giving you another pick to move up one spot? But, to your point, if we're going Daniels or Maye it's more risky to fool around with dealing the pick.

Courtland Sutton wants a new deal with more guaranteed money, no doubt Denver will be dealing him. I like Sutton and I don't think he'd cost more than a 5th round pick. Dude can get into the endzone. Denver was shopping him last year during the season from what I recall.... -
Picture Aaron Rodgers, Patrick Mahomes, Drew Brees, Joe Burrow, even Eli Manning and the way they all can/could decipher a defense at the line of scrimmage. Understanding what the QB is seeing from a defense is the true defining skill in becoming a very good NFL QB. Many prospects never figure this out, at least on their 1st contract, and end up being journeyman QB's for the rest of their careers. My question for the QB experts on this site: Which of the QB prospects is most likely to figure out how to read NFL defenses and have the skills to get the ball where it needs to go? Everything else is important but secondary to truly feeling calm and deciphering different defensive looks. This year I watched Jalen Hurts become totally helpless against defenses that blitzed him. He couldn't use his legs to escape it and couldn't get the ball to any of his receivers consistently at the end of the season. I also think his coaches let him down some but he clearly wasn't comfortable when being blitzed. If the answer to this question is Maye then I'm on board with him. If it's Daniels then I'm on board. If the answer is clearly McCarthy then I'll take him too. Hopefully the coaches/GM will figure this out and make the right choice by picking a QB who can control a game with his eyes and brain by figuring out what he's seeing and then executing. I guess this is really the billion dollar question when drafting a QB.

I like how you think, but I'm hesitant to deal two picks for Aiyuk and then pay him unless he's the next Tyreek Hill which I doubt. We have big money committed to Terry and I just think we can grab a very good WR in the draft rather than going for Aiyuk. Just my opinion. If we could get him for just one of our picks then I may consider it but not for two picks.

If you all recall, one of the things that made Randall Cunningham so great was his flexibility, athleticism and escapability because of his frame, quickness. Remember the famous shot he took from Carl Banks and he stayed on his feet to throw a TD on MNF? I see Randall as a good comp for Daniels. Also, if you look at Ben Roethlisberger's injury chart he's had as many as any QB in league history, possibly because of his big frame and willingness to take hits.

Yep....and she eventually dumped him.

I think Parsons wants to play in Philly....if your Philly would you trade Jalen Carter, the stud DT from Georgia and a 1st for Parsons? Would Dallas do that?
