I honestly can’t believe people fell for the Trump bucks thing.

After all the grifts perped on these morons over the last 6-7 years, you HONESTLY can't believe they fell for another one?

It's going to happen again... and again... and again until this man dies and then his children will run 3 or 4 more to make millions off his demise. These cult members will fall for it all and somehow keep on falling because this is truly THE most incredible cult of blockheads in the history of the nation.

I've never witnessed anything like it in my lifetime. Remarkable. It's no longer JUST a grift. It is a full-on industry.

    Man Overboard

Josh Hawley’s long-threatened tome about American masculinity is here. Savor it with me.

Josh Hawley calls influencer Andrew Tate onto the carpet in his new book, Manhood: The Masculine Virtues America Needs, the latest salvo in the Missouri senator’s campaign to make himself relevant to anyone—anyone at all. “Tate’s idea of success apparently involved sleeping with as many women as possible, berating them, abusing them, and celebrating it all as manly,” Hawley scolds. “There is no real strength, no discipline or self-command, there. No manhood.”

Odds that Hawley WILL be caught in an infidelity or spousal abuse scandal in the next year or two?

    I watched it.

I don't think I paid enough attention to this scandal when it was happening because I had no idea the lengths to which Jared would go to abuse children and the things he would say to people that he thought would enable his efforts.

What a sick, horrible, truly evil man disguised as an inspirational celebrity.

The question I keep coming back to is whether it's reasonable for actors to have to clear prop weapons on set every time they are given an already cleared prop weapon. I don't know the answer to that but I suspect that answer is no  (legally).

I was an actor (term used loosely) for about 10-12 years. I did 3 indie films, 2 appearances on America's Most Wanted, and a few different shows that you'd see on Investigation Discovery or networks like that, all where I handled weapons or prop guns on set.

In all of these productions, when the director called "cut" a prop master would come to me, take the weapon from me, step away from the set to their trailer or designated handling area, and make sure all was safe, then return the weapon to me and check if I had ANY questions or concerns.

  5. Just stopped in to offer my respect to those of you who still show up in this thread to discuss this pathetic, irrelevant, joke of a franchise.

May God send true blessings of good fortune to your naive, loyal, and plucky little hopes and dreams. You won't find that fortune wearing a Washington Wizards uniform but perhaps the other areas of your lives will get some well-deserved love and good tidings.

Carry on, you lovable losers. Never give up, never surrender. The Wizards will do that 2-3 times a week but not you warriors of woe. Each one of you have more steel in your hearts than 11 millionaire athletes combined.

  6. I have always had trouble with the "not of this world" theory. It still seems too far to travel. I'm aware that there's the possibility of wormhole travel or "interdimensional" travel but we're just too far away from being able to verify anything like that.

My personal opinion is that they are indeed terrestrial "vehicles" while still not being man-made. There is plenty of room beneath the surface of the Earth for another species to reside. I'm referring to the James Cameron "The Abyss" theory. They live right here inside the Earth.... IF they exist.

Insurrection is a ****ing crime. Any legislator, federal or state, shouldn't be a recipient of special privileges for any type of communications when under investigation. WTF?!

That Speech and Debate clause only muddies the transparency that congressfolk should be held to by stricter measures than any citizen. For god's sake, it's public SERVICE. At some point they all just became the protected and privileged who rule OVER us.

Decent read on why Pence has no chance of succeeding in his challenge...🤷‍♂️

Mike Pence’s Real Reason for Challenging His Trump Special Counsel Subpoena

This article's reasoning is probably the most down to Earth suggestion and I'm sure it's a little closer to home than my opinion, but--

Pence cannot possibly believe he would become the nominee after January 6th. There's simply no way Trump's base or even the milder faction of Trump voters will ever forget the way he "betrayed" them and a nomination to republican presidential candidate is a pipe dream now. He's got to know this.

Honestly, I suspect that Jan6 is the precise reason he's resisting the subpoena. That mob was ready to drag him out into the streets, string him up and hang him at the gallows they built. He was in so much danger that he could not even trust his own security team to whisk him away in a limousine. If he turns around now and testifies against Trump, he and his family will be in constant danger of assassination. Every time he steps out into the public he'll be risking his own life and will constantly have to worry about the lives of his wife, children, relatives, etc.

Mike Pence is a dead man walking if he takes to the courts to describe the way his president ridiculed him in front of the White House staff and then threw him to the pack of rabid wolves that stormed our capitol. Even if he successfully avoids the subpoena, he's insane to take any public-speaking podium in an effort to compete with the Orange Traitor for leadership of our country. The target on his back would be flashing bright neon colors. No way he ultimately declares.

He's running. Now, he may crash and burn but He's running. Everything He has done in Florida is for a run at the presidency.

You are probably correct but I would not advise him to. A republican primary isn't the place for serious politicians, no matter how foul their policies are. If you're on a stage with Trump in front of his voters, you're getting bludgeoned with the bullsh*t club.

It will be disturbingly fun to watch them all eat their own but if the base doesn't change, it WILL be Trump again at the end of the melee. As I mentioned, right wing voters don't know statistics/facts/policy. They only know drama and none of the republican field can stir it up like Donnie. I STILL have some weird sympathy for Cruz and Little Marco Rubio. Trump cucked them into oblivion forever. They're still kissing the ring.

  10. Honestly IMO, if DeSantis announces he's running and we get into the debate events, Trump will absolutely maul him. Why? Because "The Base" can't comprehend normal debate and policy-based discussions. Trump has turned them all into garbage-eating, reality tv feces-throwing imbeciles and no candidate can hang with DJT in that arena. DeSantis is a dictator-style candidate but his stage persona is at least "conventional" and he won't win a republican nomination with that. The MAGATs will once again filter out any normalcy and walk away only retaining the playground antics that feed their inner childish, petulant desire for pettiness.

I highly doubt Ron will declare for a 2024 run. He knows he'll end up a cuck just like Cruz, Little Marco, and Jeb. The republican party is changed forever in favor of performative chaos... at least until Trump dies.

Daniel Caldwell, a 51-year-old Marine Corps veteran, delivered a tearful apology in court to the officers he sprayed, expressing remorse for his actions that day and pleading with U.S. District Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly for mercy.

Continuing the trend of these defendants pretending to regret their actions while in the court room, I'm sure. He'll pop up somewhere bragging again about Jan6 very soon.

I've been "friendzoned" before and I simply removed myself from the situation without anger or resentment. I was never vague or deceptive about my intentions in the first place and felt like staying in touch would only cause me sadness.

McConnell pulls rival Rick Scott off powerful Commerce Committee

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) has pulled Sen. Rick Scott (R-Fla.), who tried to oust him as the Senate’s top Republican in a bruising leadership race, off the powerful Commerce Committee.

McConnell also removed Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah), who supported Scott’s bid to replace McConnell as leader, from the Commerce panel, which has broad jurisdiction over a swath of federal agencies.

The GOP leader insisted last year that he didn’t take the attempt to end his leadership reign personally, but the latest move sends a clear message to conservatives that challenging McConnell’s leadership carries a cost.

Their biggest hype for this plan is that it would eliminate paying the IRS every year. I'm skeptical.

Also, what good is a tax return in April when many of us paying 30% on every purchase, monthly bill, etc. throughout the year wont make it to our next paycheck?

  15. Wakanda Forever is now streaming on Disney+ and this rabid Marvel fan has not seen it yet. Can't wait to get home from work and put it on. Namor is my all-time fave comic anti-hero so it will be interesting to see the changes they've made to the character. I bristled at first when I found out it won't be a "canon" version of the Sub-Mariner, but I also have a fetish for ancient civilizations like the Maya, Inca, and Aztec so at least they morphed him into something I already appreciated.

(None of this is "need to know" info for you guys but I can't contain my excitement. Carry on, folks.)

  16. Nobody from the office of State Governor on up to POTUS goes to prison. I'm sure there are RARE exceptions here and there throughout history but as a general rule, you can do whatever you want if you hold high public office and any investigation of accusations will be funneled away from you OR the worst that will happen is removal, a fine, and maybe probation. You might even keep that lifetime salary.
