I heart Dance. Thanks!

Chach, yeah he did, armbar sub in the first.
Choi had the worst ground skills ever tho. He did nto protect himself and fedor put 2 armbars on him in 30 seconds.
Sheesh. Totally missed it.

I still believe that Fedor is the greatest pound-for-pound fighter on the planet, BUT he has to stop fighting these freakshows with no MMA ability like Zulu and Hong-Man Choi, and start fighting top-ten heavyweights.
Did he fight Choi yet? That completely got by me if he did.

Showtime EliteXC comes on tonight. its basically a show that allows propsects coming up in mma to get a little exposure. nobody major will on the cards, but the couple of times i've watched in the past, the fights have usually been good.
I've been watching the event, Still. Nice bouts. I didn't know anyone on the card except one of the women. I had seen her lose once but she won tonight. Tonya Evinger. Anyway, all the fights have been pretty good.

Is anyone else pissed off at Coutre for what is happening, or is everyone siding with him?...
...The only reason I can think of is that Randy is afraid to lose before he can fight Fedor.
All UFC fighters are underpaid AND Randy Couture is afraid to lose before fighting Fedor Emilianenko.
And both are sadly understandable.
The Fertitas are trying to keep the tentacles of a real fast-growing animal under control. You can't set big purses too quickly if want it to survive. They are going too slow though. Fighters like Randy DO deserve more security. They have given their bodies and souls for years in front of the world.
As for Randy being afraid to lose before fighting his career-finishing grandstand against an unbeatable opponent? How would you or I feel on that threshold?
The problem for Dana is that he can't have a champion sitting on the title belt waiting for a match-up with a guy who won't even join the league.
I understand everyone's position as I view them. (I can't claim to truly know what's going on.)
All I can say is, "Sigh."

I got 3 out of 4 right, too. If Burkman got the nod it would'a been 4/4.
-
Swick by KO
McFedries by KO (Totally going out on a limb with this one.)
Diaz by sub
Tavares by dec
There you go. You guys now know who NOT to pick.
3 of 4 and 2 correct calls on "win by." Not so bad. Shouldn't have gone out on that limb.

Just a reminder: UFC Fight Night: Swick vs. Burkman is 9PM on Spike tomorrow (Wednesday)
The Swick/Burkman fight should be real good. I really like Burkman for his heart. Swick is fast with the striking but I think Burkman has an underrated standup/chin. Guy can take a licking and keep on ticking. I think I'll take Burkman in this one. He's better on the ground and I think he'll be able to get it there.
Other fights are:
Patrick Cote vs. Drew McFedries: I'll take Cote by submission.
Alvin Robinson vs. Nate Diaz: I think Nate will knock him out.
Thiago Tavares vs. Michihiro Omigawa: I'll take Thiago by decapitation.
There are a couple of fights that won't be shown that make you shake your head. Alberto Crane (who survived 2 1/2 rounds with Roger Heurta) is fighting a mad ground gamer in Kurt Pallengrino. They should make these events 4 hours because that fight deserves to be shown. Also, Jeremy Stephens and Cole Miller might miss being aired. Thats a crock of **** when a 4-5 douschbag is fighting Thiago Taveres. Is this some kind of exhibition-type of bout just to get new MMA fans to say "wow, Thiago really killed that guy!"? Pathetic.
Stroke is all up in this one. :applause:

Agreed 100%. It goes for any popular pro sport in America. Golfers that walk from hole to hole make millions and millions of dollars. The best UFC fighters make $500,000 a fight. The worst make less than $5,000. This is a sport you put your face and body at risk for 10-fold. That goes for training as much as the actual fighting. It's a sham.
I was shocked when I saw what some of the lesser-known fighters get paid for a fight. I don't even see how they get by, even with endorsements. These guys can't possibly make more than I do in a year and I make less than $50-grand.
The big name guys deserve a LOT more as well.
-
I bet she's still taking the "shots" too.
LOL!!!!
-
Tito is ****ing? Wow, there's a surprise. He should be happy anybody is paying to see him fight. It'll be fun to watch Machida GnP him.
That being said, Tito's probably correct in his gripe. Unfortunately, I just can't stand that whiny piece of ****.
I think Jenna's calling the shots now.

Sig updated.
Looks great! :applause:

Alright Chachie, what sentence am I putting in my sig.
"I will never doubt BJ Penn again. Chachie is my sensei and master. I bask in his MMA glory."
2 weeks.
Good night of fights, even if most were one-sided.
I owe you a rematch for UFC 81. We'll talk more as it nears.
-
C'mon men, we can promote MMA within ES with these sigs...however embarassing they are. Hell, I'll take a Cabbage signature if it will get more people to understand the devistation that takes place. We are all a team in here.
Two weeks will do for me, Strokes. But the sig doesn't necessarily have to have anything to do with MMA, right?
-
I down for a sentence in the sig chachie as I have no sig makin abilities either
Schweet! Time to start the wheels turning on your sig. Shall we agree to one week?
-
No ****. That's my mistake. You don't get away that easily!
Chachie vs. Skins Orlando
LOL! That's fine but I don't have a sig for Orlando and wouldn't know how to make one. Can we just order them to type a sentence in their sig?
-
Sig Bets
herrmag vs. PB (1 week)
mvisit vs. QBKiller (no amount of time yet)
d0ubler vs. SU (1 month [for him])
(Unofficial) Dance04 vs. SkinsOrlando
SkinsOrlando challenged me. How did it end up being he and Dance? That's fine. I don't feel like dealing with the sig crap afterwards anyway. Keep it how you have it. I'm out.
-
for cash absolutely..
i don't do sig bets don't have a clue how to put them in my sig or find 1 for any of you.
I actually don't either but someone here will be willing to help, I'm sure.
-
Alright Chachie, me and you then on the sig bet.
Fair enough, Orlando. I have faith in BJ but I do have a rotten record picking UFC winners.
I'll try to show up at the end of the broadcast either way it goes.
-
Okay, I can't take everybody myself. I've got 2 weeks worth of sig bets so far. Anybody else want to bet for BJ so I'm not stuck with 2 years worth of "herrmag getting choked out" and "herrmag getting KTFO" sigs?
I'm a BJ Penn man all the way. I'm with you, Mag. Just let me know what I need to do and when.
-
Alright this is it. http://www.tvunetworks.com/
I'd try that first because it's a given Sopcast will be delayed with the audio. In fact, I won't be ordering this one so this is my plan, as well.
You da man.
-
Thanks, guys. I'll wait on Stroke's info and go with Sop if I must.
-
I can't order UFC 80. Anyone wanna educate me on sopcast?
-
Was the Chuck/Wanderlei fight the best fight yall have ever seen? What has been better? Hyped up, long in the making, a great showup by both guys. The ora surrounding both of their histories'. Amazing.
2nd round was the best round I've seen.
And it's "aura."

Also- All the posters there think they are more knowledgeable than MMA fighters about MMA. So silly.
