Dream team scenario meaning we hire Peters to run things and maybe he hires Cunningham and GM and we get 2 great minds. At least that was the scenario.

Finlay said yesterday they cannot hire someone now using the GM title since Mayhem is still currently employed as our GM. So once we hire a Pres or VP of Football Ops it they will probably lay off Mayhew and would be able to hiring a GM under say Peters if he/they want to. Unsure if candidates want sole power of ops and personnel as you said they are currently asst GMs right now anyway and are top talent evaluators. Would be insane if we got Peters to run the show and want a consigliere to work with in one of the other asst GMs we are interviewing. Dream Team if they can work together and have the same philosophy towards building a team.

Re trading up, the draft trade value chart has the 1st overall pick at 3,000 points and our 2nd pick at 2,600 points. That's a 400 point delta. Our picks at 36 and 40 are worth 540 and 500 respectively. So a fair slight overpay would just be giving one of our 2nd rounders this draft. OFC inside the top 3 prob throws sanity of the chart out the window and especially if people come up from picks 5-10 in what they'd have to give up to the Bears. An example is the Giants who are at #6 but their entire draft value is 2,910 points (includes two 2nd rounders and one pick per other rounds except none in the 7th). So the value drops quickly. But as most are saying if the Bears are going to trade down they won't go to us but prefer a bigger Haul.

all the defending of Penix the last two pages vs the other two proposed citing being instantly under siege from pass rush with no time to plant or go through his read progressions is fine....but at the same time you can't bash the play of Howell as he was under such conditions all 17 games this season as well as playing behind 20pts at halftime many weeks. If you think Howell can't be a franchise qb then unsure how you think Penix can. Sure he has a Vick like wrist flick power throw but he has been missing some wide open looks and receivers that were 6pts to most qbs. Just be consistent. I didn't see him last week or this season but color me pretty unimpressed tonight. OFC after saying this he'll throw 3 tds to win the game in OT. LOL

Hell in 2012 (I think) I took my fav to a resort in Cancun and the day of the Skins vs Boyz game I took my young daughters to the spa for a mani/pedi. I said **** it (all day boozin' helped) and got a pedi (I'll stand by this as winning off the field for any man for the massaging/pampering of what we never take care of lol) and had the person paint my toenails alternating burgundy and gold. Went to the sports bar with my fifth of rum and watched RG3 beat the Cowboys with my fam and other Skins fans and take us to the playoffs. What a glorious day and all the Skins fans there thought the nails were funny. Life is short....who gives a **** what others think if it's something harmless. Hell Penn Jillette has a couple of black fingernails, doesn't make him Marilyn Manson. If you can ball you can ball! Drafted still has NYG picking before SD so they must be wrong. I was just looking at it for the trade value chart which says the value of our #2 vs NE #3 has a 400pt diff and their 2nd rounder is worth 550. So if we are good with Daniels, Maye, or Caleb, we could trade down one slot to NE and get their 2nd rounder and maybe give them our 4th and 5th to offset.

From what has been said about Aponte recently, she would be a great VP of Ops and she has over 30yrs of Cap Management so could handle that or a team on that easily. Would love an assistant GM from great orgs like Balt, Buff, Phi, SF as our new GM to be in charge of personnel and run the scouting department. Those two work together on a HC and let him pick his assistants.

If somehow Todd Bowles gets canned, I would love him to come home and be our new DC.

I wonder if Curl is already checked out and mindset heading to FA as he hasn't been that good this year. Could be coaching, but maybe he just wants out but if he goes, we aren't losing some pro bowler the way he's played this season.
