    2022 Howell 5th rd. 1st pick > 2024 Low 3rd rd. pick per trade chart numbers? So how did Seattle get the better deal? Value at 3rd = trade comp 3rd? Just going by what was posted as comp per chart by others. Anyway you look at it a low 3rd is greater than a 5th.

    I thought K.Curl released a cryptic message saying he would not sign here about a day before all the safeties were dropped? I was thinking you burned your bridges. Not sure if it was fake or just read it somewhere?

    Who keeps bringing this up and posting it, not me? I have only replied to posts. Is this a court trial? Evidence, Precedence? Do I have to get a Lawyer? It's a opinion, I would sit a QB if he was not ready no matter where he was picked even no.2 and you have your opinion. You would like him to start no matter the case.

    I agree on the injury thing too. I want to keep Howell and they added another Vet, good. So if the rookie is not ready and Howell had a bad 2nd half. does that not give you depth at QB to make a start if needed? We need 3 QBs we got lucky last year not the years before. This was a response to the rookie has to start. Not if you have a couple Vets on the bench and you are not ready.

    While have not given up on Howell as a decent QB I think if you like one in the draft and can get him on a rookie contract, keeping Howell till you do is what I would want.

    Sorry corrected my wording. What I meant , to the question of if you knew Howell and were would you draft him? I would take a shot because of what I saw the first half and what happened the 2nd. half. I would take that shot in the 2nd. And they do come from anywhere, just to disagree with that point. S.B. is the goal and they are not coming from the top only. But that has run it;s course in here, pretty sure we are picking a top one. Back to the draft.

    Some times you do redshirt or sit a while depends on the Player. Would hope he is a hit and not a miss. One other and the top pick won 2 games. Wish he would come out of the gate running like Stroud? I like Howell as the back up agree with most of what you are saying. I like open comp for all.

    I do, but the Rookie does not have to Start right away is the hole point and you can start a Vet if need be.

    That's a good option. We keep hearing you have to take a shot at the QB if he is their. 50/50 Do you get the QB that started the season or second half of the season? You have to take your shot a QB because you cannot win without one. They also can come from anywhere too. New coaches, a year under his belt,...... We do not know?

    Early 2nd because of the rookie contract for 4 years. Because 2 years are gone 3/4 now still a lot up in the air.

    I agree some how some were we are going to need a LT, RT and TE, that's what should have happened last year. TE's were there for the taking, OT too. We drafted 2 DB's. LT can still be had this year in the draft even a few TEs later. Value is better at WR,OT in the draft. Let's get these guys on a rookie contract. Who say's the Rookie QB has to start anyway.

    It just seems like to Me we would not want to overpay a WR when it is loaded in the draft. To me Samuels can have that kind of a contract somewhere else, KC would be a good fit but dou't he get's that contract again? I do not want the other WR's either.

    Samuels made 34.5 mil the last 3 years, was he worth the contract? There are WR's at the top of the 2nd/3rd rd. that are better and will be on a rookie contract. WRs are better value in the draft.

    Samuels will never be a 1300 yard WR for the Chiefs, they spread the ball around too much, he is a all around WR not great at anything but good. I do not think he will be missed here and he fits their Offense and should be productive. He may get a ring too. It would be a good choice for him and would be surprised if he gets11.5 mil a year like he did here.

He was never staying here, just like he was never staying in Minn. $$$$$$$ It has nothing to do with what we got for him$$$$$ Never said he was wrong for getting the money did I? Just stating what he is about$$$$$$$ He was a free agent QB that had other posts and I was reacting to one. Anything else you want to wine about?

    Forbes got torched by all WRs, Speed, Physical, Rookie, Vet, Average/ Superstar......It did not matter. He has a lot of work to do just to stay in the NFL.

    Meanwhile he has left 2 teams without a QB, after they paid for more than he was ever worth, the Falcons are next and he is all about the almighty dollar.
