I would put my chips in on Stroud to be the next great QB that's playing right now and will give Mahomes all he can handle. Of course they are still building that team with their draft fortunes of late.

He has got age on his side too, just turning 21. High school and college National Championships. Can sit him a year, still growing, played in a pro style offense. And you may get extra picks. Maye at 2 or McCarthy and some comp. is what I want to happen. Keep Howell for both of the QB's whoever it is. I got past the friend's thing with Howell and believe it could work.

Asst. QB coach just retired at 27 (Vet). You see the list above, why do we need to bring in a Vet? We have teachers that are going to help all the Qb's. It almost feels like the people that want Howell gone are worried about Howell beating their pick out or looking over their picks shoulder? He is on a rookie contract for 2 more years and maybe longer who knows, why trade him? Draft another QB later too if they like one?

The D.C. thing is true, All the big Schools get first 's on a lot most of the local talent. Durant went to Texas. Mins away from MD. GT.

LSU, is always up there top 5/10 mostly in HS recruiting with Bama,OHST, Texas, Georgia Lately, Then LSU, Mich, Penn ST. Florida, FL. ST. Clemson...and a few others every year. They have talent and it's hard to figure out why they are as bad as you say?

Having Howell on a rookie contract for 2 years+ is the play for me? Also Howell does not have to be worth more next year, but it's possible? Or you have 2 rookies and a practice squad QB on the team at QB that would eat a draft pick up unless he is a RFA.

Seems like everybody wants a backup option for the Blue Chipper. You pull the trigger, you got to go for it, no second thoughts. Why bring a vet in to hold your Blue Chipper's hand? All 3 Blue Chippers started last year. I can see letting a 2nd tier QB maybe sit for a year.
