I am hoping Maye shows more today. I still have age and body style as concerns and J.D. did nothing to change that for me yesterday. J.J. is the youngest with at least equal passing ability he has moved closer to no.2 but I would take him with a small trade down if possible. Maye needs to reclaim his spot today at no.2 today its there for the taking..

I think the hip drop rule is a good rule. I think TE's and taller WR's will be on the list of favoring this change, it's their worst nightmare. They go across the middle and the smaller DB's do this tackle all the time, but they have turned it into a trip by sticking their leg in between the receivers' legs and the others pile on the leg. It's as bad as the horse collar maybe worst. Like sticking your leg in a ladder as it falls over. If a QB can slide this will not affect him.

Flip side of Maye going to Alabama versus J.J.'s route to college is the opposite. He won a state H.S. Championship, transferred to one of the elite high schools in the country playing the best and won a Nat. High school championship, He went to Mich because Ohio ST. lied to his face to get revenge and got it. At 20 years old he led Mich to Nat. Championship at 19 he said he would be back and backed it up. He has been a Winner everywhere he has been and taken the tough roads to get there. J.J. gets the nod over the others as the most competitive and those clutch plays back it up no. wise too. There is no debate here.

I am trying to think of a supreme QB athlete who has won a S.B. and that is the goal. I can think of many processors that are not super athletes. Brady, Stratford, Mahomes, Manning's, Foles, Rogers, Roethlisberger........ No winners that I can find? He does not have to be a super athlete for me, and does not have to be a super runner. A RB has a short life in the NFL, why draft a hybird RB/QB? His career is going to be shorter most likely if you use him that way.

Running the ball and clock control will win games too keeping the other team off the field. Having a QB that moves the sticks in crunch time wins the big games too. The (Harbaughs) teams play together. It's not that they have the best players on Defense, it's they have a lot of good players all over the team in every phase and they work together. LSU, Wash, Oregon have the better skill players. Like the Ravens, Michigan coaches, player leadership, run, pass, block, play D, special teams...Complete game that's why they gave up 28 points 1 time and they played the best doing it. That's what Champions do!

least excited for Daniels. (If they draft him I hope I am wrong). His Age, Body/Style of play. move him down for me. He had the one of the most talented offensive teams around him last year. 2 of his WR's could be all pro's in the NFL. His running is a plus but like Bob that does not turn the needle for me. Maye last year did not have the Offense talent like 2022. He is young and I much prefer his age/Body style of play. Some compare him to Herbert who is a favorite of mine. I could get excited at 2. J.J. Played on a all around team with a lot good players on Offense not great. Has won everywhere he has been, State. HS champ, Nat. HS champ Nat. College champ. I prefer his age and leader style. But not at 2 and with a slight trade down (that would be a surprise) because he may sit a year or may not. I could get excited. I wanted Howell to be here too just in case. I cannot get excited for Penix because of injuries and mobility in the pocket. Played on the most talented offensive team WR's and OL overall. If we took him in a major trade down late 1 early 2 I would be okay. Williams will not be in play. I have not been for a move up to 1 also. Not sure Nix get's drafted in the 1st. Maye is the no.1 choice for me. J.J. at 2/5 is no.2 choice Be okay and not very excited with the other 2, but could be won over. Has been this way for me all the way through and the Howell trade sealed the deal. Whatever happens I hope they get it right. They have choices and I will be on board.

Dent,Hamton, Marshall.... carried that team to a S.B. win. I go with the 85 Bears best ever. Did they ever play a Champ. game while Buddy was there. Eagles were the best at trash talking, no dou't about that. NYG. D was up there too in that Era. Reggie White, Lawerence Taylor best ever. Gibbs owned Buddy in the playoffs.

About 50% more or less on this board maybe for a draft pick? -
I was wondering about Penix too and those no.s and what I think about the chart, My opinion, he sucks at moving around to get a throw off so he does not. He is going to stay in there when every other QB as already put their feet to work. He got beat up by Mich. and it cost them the game. He should have threw the ball away instead of just chucking it down field and getting picked. Daniels takes off way to early and uses his feet as a weapon while not looking to throw. Caleb does the Mahomes act passing from any position behind the line and makes more time to throw. Maye is moved off because he has no choice and can throw on the run and run enough to extent the play. McCarthy drops back less but when moved he can make the throws while moving and he has some wheels too.

K.Curl hurt himself a lot with his message to Wash. Then got screwed by all the safties being dropped right after. -
