agree... i think we need a midfielder with creativity, a defensive midfielder that can actually play the pivot and destroy defensive organization with passes that unlock parked buses, and some defenders that know how to defend and want to do so. granted yesterday was a make-shift back 4, but ****ing A they were not up to the task of keeping a relegation-zone Championship side out of the goal. that also comes down to the CDM not breaking up the offensive flow appropriately... so we need that position doubly. it's bad when you miss Hendo out there.

looks like a replay of the last 7 games... tons of toothless possession, no shots on goal, giving up a goal on a set play and on a break. EVERY team should park the bus vs. 'pool. they can't break it down and are content to pass it around the top of the box. the only excitement in today's game is from the wolves....

that was brutal. agree with DC9-- just not enough quality to break down sides that strip the tires off of the parked bus. the only team 'pool's beaten in 2017 is argyle, in a replay. gone is the marauding team playing on the front foot with deadly passing and/or slick interplay breaking down a defense. the team is just plain static as it passes along the perimeter of the box before taking a 20' crack (hitting only the crowd behind) or floating in a weak cross hoping that a miracle (looking at you lucas) happens. the last 7 matches, they've averaged 69% possession (71, 77, 68, 56, 68, 73, 73) and have gone 1-3-3. it's like santa claus stole the lads' creativity. not sure if this is missing mane (who seemed to be losing some of his effect and danger himself), the boys reading too many of their own press clippings, tired legs, or what, but damn it, reds, snap out of it.

Ugh- glad I missed that **** show. Worth it to watch a replay?

hopefully the run of lackluster performances is well out of their system for sunday's game. this has been a tough patch of draws/losses to lesser teams.

the reds need some cutting/attacking interplay to break down the bus that is parked. the graphic on BT showed that the entire argyle side's average position in on their half.
