Wouldn't Sweden have to win by 2+ goals v Mexico too? If they win by 1, both would be on 6pts but Mex would have them on differential. What is the second tie breaker?

what's everyone's take on the keepers being shopped this window? My preference for Liverpool would be: Oblak>>Allison>>Donnarumma>>Courtois>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Butland (is he really much of an upgrade over what liverpool already have?)

wow. such passion. the drama of going down is unimaginable in the bundesliga. the only thing less dramatic is the celebration party of munich winning its 100th league title in a row (with all the best players from the other clubs previous campaigns). yawn.

If Chelsea win out, Liverpool needs to win v Brighton. If Chelsea draws one game, Liverpool can draw. If Chelsea lose a game, Liverpool is set now. I think.

well, that was a crap game from liverpool. liverpool look tired, and this week of no games will be a much needed respite from a brutal fixture with a decimated mid-field squad. top 4 now not a sure thing. chelsea have huddersfield and newcastle; liverpool have brighton and hove. if liverpool doesn't win, it leaves the door WIDE open for chelsea to sneak in. rest up, reds! there's a game (and Europe) to win next week. followed by a longer rest before a game (and ALL OF EUROPE) to win two weeks following!
