Unable to accept his sexuality. "Hernandez’s alleged longtime male lover, the high school friend, was interviewed extensively by authorities after Lloyd’s murder, and was forced to testify in front of a grand jury. Law enforcement officials also say Hernandez moved a large amount of money into three accounts shortly before his arrest for the Lloyd killing: one account was for his fiancée; a second was for his daughter; the third, where the most money was moved, was for that friend." That's interesting. Also feel bad for the guy he was in love with. Got dragged into all this. Also... that newsweek article, cites marijuana and his possible CTE. No mention that he was drinking all day, regularly using PCP, or that he was basically a trash dumpster for drugs and alcohol. (in fairness I think the last contact between Hernandez and Lloyd was about weed)

Well, Hernandez' family will rake in millions from the Pats and promptly hand it over to his victims after the civil trial, so there's that. That's a good point. But they still need to get rid of that law.

It would have been easier with a conviction in hand.

With a conviction in hand Hernandez' estate would be smaller by approximately $6M - not an insignificant sum...
Bozo the kKklown
Also, do not be surprised if the Hernandez estate sue/settle with the Patriots for that bonus money they did not want to pay him.
