It is that time again......to get us pumped!!! Remember the rules.. 1. One play per reply. 2. If you make line-up changes......make sure you note that. 3..PLEASE DON'T HAVE THE SKINS RUN BACK EVERY KICK OFF FOR A TOUCHDOWN. Even though we realize that can happen. 4. No horrible injuries please. OK.......are ya ready!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh yeah.......Blondie makes it to the locker room this year!! :laugh: :laugh: SKINS -VS- JETS READY??????????????? Skins win the toss ... pull a surprise and choose to defer. As the turf verily trembles ... and every Redskins on the sidelines holds his helmet aloft ... John Hall adjusts his helmet and ... wait a minute, he adjusts it again ... now again ... but the damn thing is still down over his eyes (what's wrong with this dude's LID, man?) ... then finally, at the somewhat brusque urging of his teammates, the zebras, and 80,000 borderline insane partisan patrons ... Senor Hall approaches the ball. He kicks the **** out of it ... and it sails 4 yards deep into the end zone. Oh my god. A touchback? A touchback!! The Big Jack rumbles ... roars ... then levitates ... as the 2003 Washington Redskins defense trots determinedly onto the field. First and 10, Jets. Their own 20. Patrick Ramsey fades back, and the line does a good job giving him time to look downfield. He tries to hit Laveranues Coles on a 20-yard deep out to the left side, but the throw is a yard too high and outside. 2nd and ten from the Jets 48. Coles was open though. Ramsey approaches the center with a 3 wide set, Coles and Jacobs left, Gardner right with Candidate in the backfield as the Jets defense lines up in a blitz package. Ramsey audiblizes into the shotgun formation sending Jacobs in motion as the Jets linebackers drop into coverage........theres the snap, great protection for Ramsey, he pump fakes right, turns and hits Jacobs wide open on a slant at the Jets 25 yardline, Jacobs jukes the defender and picks up another seven yards!!!! Gardner and Jacobs very wide out to the right, Coles and Russell very wide to the left, with Canidate in the backfield. Ramsey snaps and its a handoff to Canidate who explodes through the hole then breaks it outside outrunning linebackers and out of bounds at the Jets 7 yard line. With Canidate and Cartwright in the backfield.(1st and Ten) Mccants in motion...........While Ramsey fakes a pitch left to Canidate (Drawing the defense over to a crowded left side of the ball),then pitches it to cartwright off Jansens right side as he scampers in the enzone for a Touchdown on a Misdirection play ran Beautifully.... They have a middle return on, however, the new Skins special teamers are game. Kevin Mitchell blows through the wedge and the Jets returner tries to side step him at the 12. No dice. Mitchell grabs for his left leg and throws him off balance. He tries to spin and regain his balance but is gang tackled at the 16. First and 10 Jets from thier own 16.
