Tony Moeaki suffered a knee injury in the final preseason game against the Packers.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Chiefs placed tight end Tony Moeaki on season-ending injured reserve Saturday, two days after after the second-year pro was hurt during the preseason finale against the Green Bay Packers. click link for more

The Chiefs played most of their starters the entire game (and still lost despite the Packers starters only playing one drive on each side of the ball if at all). They only pulled Matt Cassel out after 355 pound Howard Green fell on him on a sack and hurt his throwing arm. Seriously, what a poor move by the Chiefs risking their starters in a meaningless game.

What in the world was Haley thinking?

I guess he didn't want that 0-4 preseason record. Instead he just comes out looking like an idiot. Got his starting TE out for the season and had a scare when his starting QB got flattened by a man that makes Albert Haynesworth look small.

The worst part is that he had his best player (Jamaal Charles) playing for 2.5 quarters in said game. Why in the world would any logical and smart head coach have his best and most dynamic asset playing in the most meaningless game in the season, much less playing him for 2.5 quarters? Haley really is an idiot.
