Sailskipper
He wil be long gone by teh time we pick. I dont expect him to make it out of the top ten of the second round.
dfbovey
There should be several good LBs available with our 2nd round pick. It's nice to have this kind of depth at a position of need.
Gregpeck99
Howard will not be there at # 53. If the Skins are serious about a LB ... they should trade up to grab either Bobby Carpenter or Demeco Ryans ... 2 can't miss prospects IMO.
Peregrine
If hes there at #53(some say he will be, some say he wont) I think hes the best pick. Not only does he have a lot of potential, but he can fill our position of need, and the Redskins have been looking at him.
Dirk Diggler
Yeah, he'll probably go in that 30-40 range. The Skins will need to trade up to land him.

Kurd Cudins
Thomas Howard is on almost EVERY analysts MOST OVERATED list. Sure, he's fast and has good size, but he is too raw, his tackling is suspect at best, and he has not faced top competition. We aren't going to pick him and we will be better off for doing so. ronnix
there are a lot of good linebackers, and trust in our staff in getting one that will do the job. greg williams, likes to use a lot of players, and he knows he can teach and develop linebackers, like he has done with pierce and marshall. i really like demeco ryans from alabama, i have watched in at alabama his whole career, and he is fast, tough, and intelligent. carried over 3.5 average in college. Monkskin81
Hey CPNASTY, how do you know this guy is just what we need? do you know his stats? ever been to or seen a live UTEP game? come on as far as we know this guy could do just as much for us as Ramsey did and he was an early FIRST rounder! Peregrine
Raw is just what you want in a flaw. This means a great defensive coach like GW can take his raw ability and talent, and teach him the things he has been struggling with, like tackling, and technique. talk show host
Thomas Howard(I am pimpin' him) hope he's there at 53.http://www.borderlandnews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20060425/SPORTS03/604250341/1002/SPORTS:dallasuck how did you even find that article man? it didnt really indicate anything about howard potentially going to the skins. it mentioned he visited, but seemed to talk more about his potentially going to the cowgirls or one of the other teams. i was expecting an article saying we had a good shot at getting this guy! what a disappointment when i read it! you got my hopes up man! MumboSauce
I trust whoever the coaches go with. I can't wait to see who that is though. From listening to Gibbs talk about the proccess they go through when evaluating prospects among the coaches, it gives me a good feeling that who they pick more than likely will work out well. How good was trading up and getting Cooley!?!?!? so awesome
ATCRedskin82
Been to several UTEP games while I was stationed out in Las Cruces and lived in El Paso. Price has brought that program a long way, and Howard was a playmaker for there defense, but I belive him to be a suspect pick. Time will tell...
