In fairness I dont think they let him go. Kirk clearly didnt want to be here after not getting his deal in year 4. They wanted to keep him but after the second franchise tag that wasnt going to happen. Pickett was probably me. I loved him coming out. And I think the change of scenery will help him as well. I wont be surprised if he pushes Hurts some after the season he had last year.

@TurningTheCorner can be confused all he wants. The truth is the truth. There is no one, other Bobby Wagner, on this defense that has shown anything. They are all losers at this point. Yes Luvu has shown excitement. But what has that led to exactly? The Panthers won nothing. And no one else on this defense has won anything either.

We will see I guess. JJ can ball. And he is a winner.

I mean realistically we have no one on defense. Bobby Wagner is a beast. But he is about to be 34 years old. No one else on that side of the ball has proven anything at this point. Literally none of them.

Pretty much yeah. And our defense isnt going to tee off on Daniels like any other NFL defense he will face. I am really excited to see what he does in our practices against the Jets. That is a solid defense they have up there.

There is a ton of optimism in here. And I get it. But please look at the workouts with open eyes. Daniels struggled some in the red zone. Which should be expected. He has yet to face a real NFL defense. And he WILL throw picks. Probably a ton of them. This year is about his growth. And the growth of the players around him. I just hope he makes it through half of the games. We will see.
