I can't believe normally football savvy fans are in this much denial. Oh, your in a control position, but at what cost. See, we are in a stronger control position after investing in our team, not buying on credit. Your cap situation must be in dire straight next season if this is the type of move you have to make to get out from under the weight of a 1st rounder. If that was truly the case. Trading down from 9 and accumulating picks and cheaper talent, would be how I would go. That is me though, Danny obviously knows more. And why can't we trade down from the 9th pick? Hmmm Or why not trade down from both spots? See Ken you are showing your sillyness by thinking this is an absolute static move and that nothing else can be done after this. We can easily trade both picks and accumulate even MORE this year and have MORE players ready to go NEXT YEAR. But no Ken, you are clearly disproving my assumption that you are a smart guy

Ken, please delineate your definition and reasoning behind your superior "control position". I recall you're team making the playoffs once in the last 5 years, just like us Redskins. You have no standing to make such reckless points. And it's "dire straits", hillbilly.

They may very well have a plan up their sleave, but recent history suggests that they are just winging it. Sorry.

Hey Ken, don't forget we only allow Redskin fan trolls here  Enjoy your sweep - we gave it to you gift-wrapped, and you may not enjoy it again for a long long time. You'll be lucky if Big Bill makes it through his contract, unless you get him off the Big-Macs.

Wow, calling out the missed s in the typing.... you got me. To think that the post I responded to had numerous spelling errors and called me stupid, yet, I passed on the obvious call out. Your my hero. And the "control position" I was referring to was not my verbiage but the poster I was responding to. Now to do simple math for you..... #9 1350 + #25- 720 = 2070 #11 1250 + #20 850 = 2100. That is not even counting our 1st rounder next year......... I don't think that's even worth the proverbial cookie.
