red zone
For several years now, Jimmy Johnson, the D-Coordinator for of the E-girls has been regarded as somewhat of a defensive guru. My question is, if he's so great, why does his name never come up as a head coaching prospect? He looks like he probably spits a lot when he talks (dude has some sloppy lookin' chops), but other than that, you'd have to think he'd be a prime head coaching candidate. Thoughts? SkinsHokieFan
Too old, and he looks like a ghost. And honestly, for some reason looks matter. Look how long it took guys like Charlie Weiss or Ralph Friedgen to get head coaching jobs
E-Dog Night
I was wondering about that yesterday. I get the feeling that he just really likes what he does and doesn't have the temperment or perhaps the desire to deal with all the things that a HC has to deal with. Don't really know, though. cfujskins
He doesn't come up often anymore because he likes what he does and has turned down MANY oppourtunities in the past.

rdsknbill
Don't think that anyone wants to take a chance on a coach that old either. Plus it doesn't seem that he wants to go anywhere
cphil006
He is old, just like Monte Kiffen of the Buccaneers...
kappaluvacee
He made it clear many times that he wants to remain with the Eagles in his current capacity.
